I couldn't believe it so, I reregistered again, it looks like they stoled page one, of Resmed's Play Book., what a bunch of fools. It also looks like they only have two products, that they aren't going to sell. That should cut down on their inventory. Jim
Maybe they will run a special, 2 free, if you pay the shipping on the first one.

well if that's the case i'll just save up for the whole thing here on cpap.com, i think it's 170 now for the whole thing, software and the reader. this bodes ill tidings though since 2factors is doing it many more may decide to follow suit. . just say no to resmed. and now 2factors as well.

i e-mailed mako-tech and they pointed me to a distrbutor. mako warned that if i was looking for the reader for a CPAP that i needed to get it straight from respironics, cause it needed a special driver (I gots the driver already )
Please kindly contact our distributor, Secure Tech Peripherals (http://www.securetech-corp.com/) at 310-547-8501 and ask for Mako Technologies DT-3500.
If your need is for use with Respironics Encore Pro application please kindly contact Respironics directly (http://www.respironics.com/). A special driver is required to be used with our reader and that specific application.
Thank you very much for your interest in our product.

Re: 2factors smartcard reader, change in price
I just left the 2factors site 7-12-06, 10:15 PM EST. The cost of the DT3500 was still $24. The shipping was $7.80 postal making a total of $31.80. I guess they did go up $1.00, probably due to oil prices. It had an option of $25 for FedEx.gecko1977a wrote:I just visited their site and can fine NO MENTION to the option to buy the reader with the included postage, just the option without the postage, then the only shipping option is FedEx for $50

You can also buy just the reader here (in the USA for a little more than 2 factors).

Thank's for the tip, on quick check out, I've been wanting a spare, now I have another one on the way. $31.80 USD postage included. They aren't fun to deal with... A definate non-secure site, but take a chance.sthnreb wrote:Me either. Did you try the quick check out? I just went through the motions to see and it gives me a $7.80 postal option or $25 FedEx.
It can be done it you jump through enough insecure hoops. Jim
