Rest Stormy. So glad you are home! Take care and do as the nurse advises. Take your time recovering.

All the best to you!

I have been trying to figure out how much I can get done before the nurse comes while being tied to an oxygen bottle? My daughter unpacked my stuff from the hospital and set my cpap machine back up for me and cleaned my fridge. I am getting a new oxygen set up tonight. The man should be here shortly with my new things. Too little time. Too short a hose.

Think of the short hose as a leash. You are supposed to take it easy.
They will let you have more distance when they think you can handle it.

I have used oxygen at night for a couple of years and that was no problem. This all day thing is not easy but I can breathe. I guess I won't complain.

I am so glad that you are well enough to be worried about too short a leash. I have picc line covers if you would like them. If you send me a PM I can get them to you.

Best, Maureen

Glad you are feeling a bit better, Stormy! You don't think it was the Mane 'n Tail shampoo that make your leg so thick, do you?

Wow, great news Stormy... you are home! Please listen to all the advice to take it easy (this forum has a good track record of great advice) and let others help you so you can heal more quickly and get back to full health. Every care giver at some point needs someone else to care give for them, it is part of life. Please just accept it and let it happen.

You all are making me laugh now. My Picc line is gone now thank the Lord. The man dropped off my Oxygen supplies and my hose is long enough to trip everyone in the house including the dogs. I am not on a short leash at all. I won't be doing much at least for a few days. I am just too exhausted.

You going home is fantastic news, Stormy. Shows the power of prayer, belief in yourself, and a fantastic medical team. Choose the order that suits you best! While I don't go to the docs very often, I do recognize that they do a fantastic job when they are needed to assist the body getting itself better. Remember that good sleep, with your trusty xpap, and the additional oxygen is what the higher power needs to help it finish the job the docs started. May you be blessed with a quick recovery, and great health from now on.

Hi Stormy,

I am very relieved that you made it to the hospital in time, and that you are now recovering at home. I've been thinking about you a lot and I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Great news Stormy, so glad to hear your at home! I stopped working for a few minutes this afternoon and was wondering how you were doing and said a little prayer before going back to work. May God bless you and watch over you! Take care of yourself and don't over-do! You don't want to go back to the hospital. Here's to a speedy recovery and may you soon be up and about, taking long walks and watching sunrises and sunsets.

So glad you are home! Any mess in the house will still be there to deal with when you feel better. Take care of yourself now, clean later!
I also have used a night guard for twelve years.
