I get to the menu, but when I click on the mode option, I can't change it away from CPAP. It's stuck.Pugsy wrote:http://www.apneuvereniging.nl/forum/pdf ... manual.pdf

Ted,
If you have an s9 Elite, it cannot be changed from CPAP mode. You'd need an Autoset model to change that setting.
As a relatively new s9 Eilte user, I've never experienced anything remotely close to what you are describing. I'd bring it to the DME and have them plug it in and test it. Sounds like you probably need it fixed/replaced. No way would I sleep with something puffing at me every second!
I'd address it right away. After finding out about all the nasty health effects that go along with apnea, I wouldn't want to sleep without my machine.

Re: Constant puffing
The elite only does cpap. You need an autoset to do auto adjusting pressures.tedthefed wrote:
Does anyone know how to change the modes on a Resmed S9 Elite? I don't know if it'd make a difference, but it's set to CPAP mode, and I can't change it away from that mode. I think changing to Auto would be worth a shot, but it won't change away from CPAP.

@tedthefed:
Have you tried a cod reset.
Just unplug the machine, count to 20 (not fast) and plug back in.
You have an Elite if it says "Elite" just over the power button; if not, please tell us what it does say there.
