I am a new CPAP user and have downloaded the sleepyhead software.
I would also like a link to the Rescan Software, if someone could please inbox that to me.

Can someone share what the differences in data are between the two?

many thanks

Check your PM box.

The data that each software presents is essentially the same data just presented visually in a different manner.
I sent you a link for the tutorial as well and you can see for yourself what I mean about being visually different.
You can use both software programs if you wish. The main advantage to using ResScan (for me) was the red line at 24 L/min leak...very easy to spot just how much time I may have spent above 24 L/min and how much above it.
On SleepyHead it wasn't always easy to see just how much over 24 L/min I went or for how long due to the scale involved.
Over 24 L/min is where ResMed says that leaks can start negatively impacting the machine's sensing and reporting capabilities and may impact therapy. Personally I found that things didn't go horrible until leaks were in the 30s....like between 30 to 35 L/min I would see a lot more events than normal (so I assume pressure was inadequate) but the machine would flag them as unknown events meaning it couldn't tell what to call them....with leaks above 35 L/min events seemed to disappear where I would have normally thought events should show up (even if flagged unknown) so I assumed that the machine just totally couldn't sense them...of course maybe I didn't have any but since I don't know for sure I have to assume the worst case scenario to be on the cautious side.

If you haven't read this yet...it will help with understanding your data no matter which software you get it from.

I have been lurking for a little while and finally registered after upgrading my ResMed S8 to a S9 yesterday. Thanks for all of the great information on the S9. It helped with my decision. I will be reviewing the other great information on the S9.

Could I get the link for the S9 software?

Thanks in advance!

Hi. Newby from New Zealand. Just diagnosed with OSA.

Thanks for all the valuable information. Great forum.

I've purchased a Resmed S9 and would also like the management software so I can evaluate my data more effectively.

Could someone PM me - thanks in advance.

I told my sleep doc I was monitoring my own progress, and she did not seem fazed by it at all. I suppose that is on a case by case basis with each doctor, though.
