Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?
Back in '06 I purchased the Philips Respironics Encore Pro Data Management Software 1.8i from CPAP.com for my (then) new machine. A few years later, after upgrading to Windows 7, I found that it wouldn't work with Windows 7, so I've been running a dual boot system, (Win XP), so I could continue to use the software.
I recently, (FINALLY!), purchased a new, (and much needed), machine. I've been using Sleepyhead and it seems to work great.
However, I would love to have the Encore software to compare it with. Does the Encore software work okay with Windows 7? If so, could I possibly also get the info on how to get it? It would be great to finally lose the Windows XP installation and the HD space that it takes up.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?
I have a Win 7 running 64 bit and got Encore Basic (look for pugsy's) and it runs fine.
It is NOT as nice as sleepyhead, you have to dig to find the data specially daily.
And it does not seem to have many of the reporting and reading features as sleepyhead.
Hint I really like sleepyhead.

I like Sleepyhead as well. It seems to do a great job. I also liked Encore back in the day. I'd just like to compare the two.
I guess I should have specified that I also have a 64 bit system.
Thanks for the response.

Recently acquired a PS1 60 and have learned I cannot look at my data with my Encore Pro 1.8ish ... Sleepyhead looks interesting, but does not seem to support PS1 60 yet. Any way I could get a link to the newer version of Encore Pro?

Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?
I have been using a CPAP for 2 years now and I have never been able to view my data... To top it off I tried SleepyHead and it failed to show anything!
I use a Philips Respironics System One and just switched to a ResMed Swift FX Nano (no more red marks on my nose... Thankfully)
Could someone point me in the direction to a software download link?
Thanks!

SleepyHead does indeed now work with the 60 series machines up to and including the 760 machine.HanSolo wrote:To top it off I tried SleepyHead and it failed to show anything!

It won't work with the 960. So what model machine do you have and did you get the Patch file for the 60 series machine.
End version should be SleepyHead 0.9.2.3 and it will work.

Send me a private message if you want to try Encore software...and I need to know what OS version is on your computer.

so what is the model number of your machine?
It's a 3 digit number on the bottom of the blower unit. May have some letters in front of or behind the 3 digit number.

Hi Pugsy,
I have a DS560HS ..
Thanks for the pointer to the write up on Sleepyhead. I see a 9.3 available for download. Would it be better to try that rather than the 9.2.3 with a patch?

Sleepyhead 9.3 for Win 7 Pro worked great for my PS1 DS560HS. No patch required,. Thanks for the info!

It's a "Philips Respironics System One - REMstar PLUS 251P" I'm pretty sure that it's a 50 series.
I would love to try the Encore software, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate - 32bit.
Oh and by the way, I tried the SleepyHead 0.9.3 Beta and still have have no data showing from the P-Series/Pxxxxxxxxxxxx/p0 folder which inside has 965 .000 files.
Thanks again
Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?
Your problem isn't the software....HanSolo wrote:"Philips Respironics System One - REMstar PLUS 251PHanSolo wrote: I tried the SleepyHead 0.9.3 Beta and still have have no data showing from the P-Series/Pxxxxxxxxxxxx/p0 folder which inside has 965 .000 files.
Your problem is the machine...you have a 251...yes, correct the 50 series BUT you have the 2xx model which doesn't collect any data except hours of usage.
This is why one of my first questions is "which model machine are you using" because people don't know models and which ones gather only compliance hours of use on that SD card.
You have a brick...what we not so lovingly call a machine that does the job of blowing air but doesn't offer anything to tell you how well it is blowing the air.

BTW...you need model number 450 or higher to get full efficacy data.
I can get you Encore software that will work on 32 bit computer...so that isn't a problem...the problem is there is nothing to gather on the 250 series machine except how many hours you use it each night.

Oh well, I'll have to live with the brick till I get a ResMed S9 Elite!
I would have loved to see any data that I did have on the machine but I guess this is why no one has asked me to bring in the SD Card for analysis. Would the software break down how many hours slept individually and not like the display shows as average 30 and last 7 days?
I appreciate your assistance Pugsy
Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?
I see all this talk about Sleepyhead. But no references on where to download it. A link please!
I'm workin' on it.
