Ah.... please open up that Pseries folder and see what's in there. It's possible your problem is that your machine is not set to log the details of your therapy, and hence there is nothing for SleepyHead to read.

If that's it, it's easy to fix. One of the Philips users can show you how to turn logging on, and tomorrow you'll have something to import.

That quick green flash indicates the download/import at least occurred.
If you don't see any numbers on the statistics page or the daily graphs...then you may not have done the Patch properly.

What version of SleeyHead does it say you have?

Have your wife send me a PM and we can do what she and I talked about last night.

We need to talk.
version should be 0.9.2-3 with patch installed.
I am thinking we need to start all over from scratch..you are missing the regular update along with the Patch.
It will be easier if I just walk you through it. I can talk you through it in 5 minutes or we could spend all day typing back and forth here.
I will send you a PM in just a few minutes...or you can check your wife's.

Respironics users don't have to turn on something like Sleep Quality (in your S9) to get the machine to write the data to the SD card.
It just automatically goes on the SD card. Turning the LCD display on or off doesn't affect the data going to the card.

Update...sort of.
Still having trouble getting the Patch to do its thing.
SleepyHead is now installed and got the first update to give us version 0.9.2-1 but can't get the Patch version adjustment.
The Patch file did replace the original application exe file...confirmed we got the latest because I downloaded the Patch file myself and unzipped it and sent it via email.
Confirmed visually that file did indeed replace the old exe file (which was simply removed).
For some reason it won't update to 9.2-3.

Import/download does its normal thing and the statistics page shows the SleepyHead and the machine information but of course no other data. Confirmed the machine is indeed a 460. With the PR S1 machines there isn't any turning off or on feature for writing full data above summary usage to the SD card like there is with the S9 machines.

Out of ideas....anyone need a reboot of the computer for the changes to take place? That's one thing we didn't try.

Just a note of appreciation for all those providing help for those trying to get the series 60 working. It is nice to have a community that supports itself so that I can focus more on the hex editor when a bug comes up.

Just an ongoing offer - if you get corrupted data on any recent respironics machines and you are in fact running the latest version of this patch (be sure to check - it does change when I fix bugs), PM me about sending me your data files. If you're just not sure you're doing it right please post and let the community help.

I'm certainly willing to believe that rare bugs remain - sometimes issues come up with the interpretation of rare event codes, and it is hard to fix them until somebody runs into them. I'll continue to update as these come up, and these updates are all going to be in the upcoming (hopefully soon) release.

That's odd. You're definitely downloading it from:
http://thefreemanclan.net-publish.s3.am ... pyHead.zip

The OSX version hasn't been updated since November, but the windows version was just updated a week ago. If you know how to calculate md5 sums the zip file has a hash of 0666c045bf96c2b89a5f812a583475e4. The file should have a date around Feb 12th of this year.

You should just be able to swap out the exe file and run it then, and it should show version 0.9.3 in the title bar.

Yep and I just now confirmed it again...that's the one I got and emailed....exact same size and everything.
Win 7 OS...or I would be totally out of my league.
That's the one we put into the main SleepyHead folder after removing the old one (for some reason it wouldn't overwrite).

Version is stuck at 0.9.2-1
Edit...I just put the new Patch file in my SleepyHead...and I now have 0.9-3 Beta.
So it worked for me.

It's possible that the process was still running in the background. That would be one way you could see the correct .exe file and yet get the wrong version. A re-boot would fix that ... but you don't have to. You can use Task Manager to "End Process" on SleepyHead.exe (on the processes tab).

But if you're nervous about doing that, reboot should do the trick.

Pugsy, it isn't you having the problem, right? You're helping someone? (I didn't read the entire set of new entries today...)

Correct, not me but as I was trying to help jerrygarcia.

We have success now...unsure what fixed it. The reboot may have been a trigger..initially it didn't seem to want to make a difference and run as administrator thing for opening SH didn't help.....then he did something else (he's unsure what) and the final update finally went through. He now has version 0.9.3 and data from the SD card. He's good to go now.
Whew...that's a relief.

Ye gods, that's horrible! What's next, a CPAP machine that doesn't write over data until the SD card is full? Think of what could happen!

Hello - I am having import problems with a philips cpap - I read the guides, applied the patches, it appears to read the data but the debug output shows "Ignoring empty session x..."

When I look at the info on the CPAP machine it shows the correct hours of therapy, etc. correctly.

I looked at the files on the sdcard and there are files for each day but they are very small 58 bytes of data....

Here is the info I get from SleepyHead...

SleepyHead v0.9.3

The only data the 260 model machine gathers is hours of use and that may be totally confusing SleepyHead because it expects to see full data. If you had a full data machine SleepyHead should work with the Patch.
You have a what we call a "brick"...a machine that doesn't gather anything other than how many hours you use the machine each night. There is no useful efficacy data available for the software to report.
You might want to read this blog.
http://maskarrayed.wordpress.com/

Your machine is the PR System One 60 seris Plus machine with CFlex+ that's model 260.

In the Respironics models ...model 450 (50 series) or 460 (60 series) are the first models that gather efficacy data.
Those are called PR System One Pro ...machines.
