Pretty funny.Pugsy wrote:Sarge snores and when he sleeps up on my pillow with his chin on my neck or shoulder...my machine records a huge number of continuous snores. I suspect a combination of the sound and the vibrations that travel through the hose cause it.ems wrote:Pugsy... am I remembering correctly... isn't Sarge the doggie who makes your AHI mysteriously climb? He shares your mask or something... ?
When he is down by my knees (where his preferred resting spot is) I rarely have any snores.
Figure it out by accident one night when he started the night out on my shoulder and I had 2 hours of solid bar of snores.

Re: Post your pet pictures
This has to be my favorite one... Your right everyone (including me) has cats, dogs, occasional rabbit or other rodent, or birds. Our little reptile friends get left out... I used to have some super cute lizards when I was a kid, ok my brother's lizards but I took them over I loved them. I never did get any other reptilian pets, not sure why? I absolutely love snakes! They are soooo soft and smooth and just cool! I know someone out there reading this is thinking ewww that is weird... But that's me...stevetaylor1234 wrote:Most people have a cat or a dog. This is My kitty Kyler a couple months ago, and when he was a kitten. He grew up with the gentlest 2 1/2 year old girl, most 2 year olds just drag kittens around.

Re: Post your pet pictures
this is Bach. Police academy drop out. Failure for lack of aggression. He is about as dangerous as a sleeping baby. so i adopted him. Pretty much goes everywhere with me.

Sometimes the rejects make the best pets. All mine are "rejects".Viperdave wrote: Police academy drop out.
Sarge was unwanted because he is black with a speck of white on his chest and that is considered undesirable. So I bought him when he was 6 months old and he had been abused by someone with a hat. He hates hats.
Toby and Lizzie...from the animal pound. Toby was on the short list for being put down because he had been there the longest.
Lizzie...well I didn't know she was going to become the dog from Hell but her soft face won me over. She a super watch dog though. No one will ever be able to sneak around here without her telling me about it and that is really important because my husband is over the road truck driver and gone a lot.
Lilly the Bengal..wasn't getting along with the senior cat in the household..so for a very small rehoming fee..I got her. No where near what this cats cost in general.
I also have Sally the coon hound but she is over at my mother's house. She won't let me have her back. Their dog (male) Merlin is in love with her and would miss her terribly...he cries the whole time when I take her to the vet for shots until she comes back.
She was from the animal pound in Las Vegas. Bag of bones when we got her.

what is your pugs name? I have 3 pugs. 2 blacks and a fawn. I will try to post them.
Pugsy wrote:Here's the latest addition to my zoo. Lilly...9 month old Bengal. Only got her 2 weeks ago. She is small (was the runt from what I was told). Also wasn't supposed to be a lap kitty but has spent hours in my husband's lap (won't stay in my lap ). She very vocal and hell on 4 paws. She doesn't care for the dogs yet. Sarge the pug dog...Toby the Border Terrier...and Lizzie the dog from hell who is a Beagle/Australian blue heeler mix. I don't have quick access to pictures Lizzie and Toby but I will see if I can get them to hold still for some new pictures.
Here's a picture of Sarge. He's totally devoted to me. Follows me everywhere. He's terrified of the cat.

I use photobucket, it's free and pretty easy to use.yoyoyomonica wrote:how do u post pictures?
Photobucket gives you a little box with I think 4 different url addresses so you can share the photos.
Choose the last line in the box....copy it....then open your post here and paste that address into the body of your post.
At first you only see the address in code but the image will show up during preview or after you click the submit button if you have done it correctly. It will automatically contain the IMG brackets needed for the image to show up.
Other photo hosting sites may have different choices but basically you copy the address and insert it between the 2 IMG brackets that you choose from the forum editor box..up by the url link box.
I have had several pugs over the years...both black and fawn....This black one is called Sarge.
Previous black one was called General Buearegard. He was nearing the Rainbow Bridge when I got Sarge...I knew what I would be facing soon. We called him Beau... couldn't have another general...so opted for a lesser rank. I like fairly simple names for day to day use. So Sarge was the choice.

Allrighty -- here we go.
This is Dakota, our only dog at this time. Pure Bred Chocolate Lab, going on 13 years old. Sweet dog, but never lost his "puppy" --

This is Callie, one of two of our first rescues in recent years. She and her brother (next picture) were rescued from a horse stable that wasn't taking care of them. She's pretty sweet (most of the time anyway).

And here's her brother, Tommy, but we call him 'Po Po' which is short for "Stinkpot" because he is one mischievious cat!!

This is Oreo, a shelter cat. I don't know the full story, but his owners didn't want him/couldn't keep him when he was five years old and dumped him at the Shelter.

This is Hershey, a solid chocolate cat, which is unusual. She also came from the shelter, but we don't know her story. Something really awful must have happened to her because she is as skittish as any cat I've ever seen. We can barely touch her, but she is trying to let us more and more. We give her her space and she seems happy enough.

Billy - shelter cat as well. He is, without a doubt, the most loveable cat I have ever had. He loves people and other cats. I've never heard this cat hiss or spit at anything.

And last, but definitely not least - Misty. Saw her at Petsmart and fell in love with her. We decided to adopt her BEFORE we realized her tail is messed up. Called a "corkscrew" tail and it was the first our vet had ever seen. She's a sweety, but tries to be the Queen of the house.

Love everyone's pet pics! I guess I will ad my two "children"!
Here's is my little big man Rusty, a wired coat doxy/jack Russell mix. A friend and I rescued him form the side of a remote highway over 8 yrs ago when he was only 6 months old. Someone had dumped him out in the middle of nowhere. He was sitting on the shoulder of the highway, just waiting, when we came along. After trying to find if he was lost and anyone was looking for him, we soon found out no one was. So he has been my boy ever since!

A couple of years later, we decided Rusty needed a sister, so I adopted Hannah, my pug/shih tzu mix, from a family that no longer wanted her. She is a silly girl, and her and Rusty are very close!
