I remember that SU. It wasn't that long ago.

To TheUglyTruth
So many of us wish we were in your shoes, trust me. However, we're not. We ALL wish we were able to reach sleep nirvana in a week. For the many times I've posted, as well as others, I post because I'm not where you're at. I need guidance in different areas. I can't get a qualified answer from my husband, friends or family. Sometimes our situations are personal that we don't want to discuss our issues with others who have no clue as to what we go through on a daily basic, these folks understand which a great thing. We've had folks, mainly women, who have REAL issues about sex, relationships and whole bedroom scene which is something you cannot chat about in real life with people have no clue as to what sleep apnea entails. Imagine for a bit if we all took these issues to our physicians, they'd be able to retire within a year. On the opposite side of the fence, men have problems with facial hair and making a mask work, advice like this only comes from men who've been there which can be found on this forum. MANY people have issues with xpap, I have. Again, who do we ask in real life? The latest big concern was when Superstorm Sandy hit and there was MAJOR concern over the lack of power and how to still have accessabilty to your xpap. Others have had employment issues that need to be resolved soon that are related to sleep apnea. Some of us have mask, leakage, and machine issues. Where else are we going to go??? I'm just SOOOO thankful, as many are, I found this forum as Dori so eloquently stated that "we share a common bond". For me, it's not just about throwing your mask on and turning on your machine and life is all good for the approaching day, I wished. There are definitely well educated folks here that have helped me with this whole process. If it wasn't for this forum, I'd be a VERY lost soul that would still be using a brick at 8cm. Then when new folks come on board, then I'm able to assist in what I know that has worked for me. In my book, this forum will NEVER be counterproductive. Granted, I may not be able to see these people, but I feel their heart and spirit in the post, that's good enough for me. As humans beings that we are, we need some humor in our lives and some people are REAL good at it. For the better part, we have established friendships during this time even if it's on a forum (excluding those who wish to create drama, trolls and trigger happy spam hitters), and we have learned to trust one another also except for *cough* those men who like pink (of course I'm not thinking of ANYONE on this forum *whistles away*). Be it as it may, I don't see it being counterproductive to me, my health, or my future. Ok, I'm off my soapbox. I just take a bit of offense at the work "counterproductive" which makes me feel like I'm anti-social, I'm hypochondriac about this disorder, and that I have no life.

Holy crap! Was it a forum bug or someone chasing you around to and doing it mischievously just because they didn't agree with your postings?SleepingUgly wrote:Not to brag or anything, but once someone deleted ALL my posts.

Hey Lazer, can you try flip-flopping the elephant and the kitten just to see how it looks? The elephant (I'm going to call her Ellie) is too small to tell she's wearing a thong.

Should be "PAPyderm."chunkyfrog wrote:Have you named the elephant yet?

As for deleted posts, hopefully someone will keep doing it and lose their posting privileges.

Re: OT: Why am I being censored and my posts disappearing?
I fixed!
But I have to re-size the elephant gif because I had it downsized to 100x100 for the (sig) part and just cheated the size up for the avatar portion and see it's a little blurred now. /Fixed!

I don't think that would fly around here to well. I do have a "Swimmer" thong somewhere in my drawers.ems wrote:You in a swim suit.lazer wrote:Would you prefer anything in it's place?ems wrote:My 1 cent... can we eliminate the gentleman?
