OT: Why am I being censored and my posts disappearing?

I thought the "SPAM" privilege button for members with X number of posts was put here for a reason other than this?

-Why is it that I "Quote" an already said political comment and add a laughing .gif file, am I called out on it to a point of having brain damage?

-Why is it that I post a "Pissing in the wind" gif that doesn't even show the "parts" but just the gesture, I receive a PM to warn me how I'm offending the masses on this board?

-Why is it that I post a wiggling tongue pic in a thread trying to add a little levity and humor and it just gets deleted?

-Why is it that about a month ago, I post in an already OT: Political discussion and funny anti-Obama pic of sorts and it to gets deleted?

Yet the Off-topic political rants and drivels are left be here.

& The continued derogatory and inflaming posts by a 'certain' elderly member here towards newbs and women are left be.

Lazer... as you already know after three months you get that little spam button. Then your posts can be deleted and you'll have no idea who is doing it. Someone from outer Mongolia could be deleting your posts and you'll never know. You and I disagree politically, but I wouldn't think of deleting your posts. That's pretty awful if you ask me. Since not one of us knows when or if our posts will be deleted, just forget about it and move on. What else are you going to do?

you get a "Report Spam" button after so many posts but I don't remember how many.

I am wondering about the "TWITTER" button Has that alwasy been here?, It has been a while since I have been on this site.

I'm pretty sure you get a spam button when you've been posting for three months.

What about sending an email to Johnny Goodman. Maybe they have a way of knowing who hit the spam button and when. Probably not, but might be worth a try.

Carolyn is the one to email. She handle that part of things. She has quick access to any spam removed posts and also has quick access to whomever did the removing. It's all logged and from the administrator end of it....easily seen and addressed. That's how stuff gets put back when someone abuses the spam button.
Also she will send the abuser a little message about using the spam button inappropriately and if they are habitual offenders she can even remove the spam button privilege.

I think you should take Pugsys suggestion. The person who is deleting your posts needs to be dealt with. If they don't like you for whatever reason, no one is forcing that person to even look at your posts or comments or pictures. I for one enjoy your humor and lightheartedness. It makes me smile in spite of the fact that I have SA and lots of other health problems at my age. I know others on here will agree. Stand up for yourself and your friends on here. Whoever is doing this is just a miserable coward with nothing better to do in life but bully other people around. Very sad, really. I pity whoever this person is. Kat

Your posts are sometimes a little edgy but I always look at them and smile. If this website get's too staid, younger folks will just get turned off and think the members are just a bunch of old fuddy duddies who wear Depends and get their knickers in a twist over the slightest impropriety (wait, I guess that's a contradiction in terms, plus logistically impossible).

I suspect it's just one person who's got it in for you. It shouldn't be too hard for Carolyn to shut that busy-body's spam button off.
