I changed the amplitude data in Rescan to show pressure from 9 to 16.
I think it's why folks here see a break in pressure data.
If you set pressure amplitude in Rescan 0-20 you will see a continuous therapy line down to zero when you stop the blower.

These are my complete graph for the last 2 nights.
This night I avoided stopping the blower. There's no change to zero in the pressure.

Now I'm only confused why Autoset did'nt higher the pressure during my apneas.
I had a terrible sleep this night. Don't know why the night before I had ZERO apneas with a lith change in the pressure.

I'm thinking about a webcam with infrared to be sure I was back sleeping during apnea events.

Autoset 11.4 - 13.6 / EPR=2 / Max Press=12.4

Autoset 12.0 - 15.0 / EPR=2 / Max Press=12.2

Not in my S9 data. It just plain stops.

Tell you how to find out for sure. Take a look at your data card in the datalog folder for the night with the zero pressure. The date is in the filename. Just remember that a file that is dated just after midnight belongs to the day before. How many PLD.edf and BRP.edf files do you have for that night? I'm sure the S8 would be same as the S9 in that the data file is closed when you turn the blower on and a new one started when you turn it back on.

sorry, idamtnboy.
no datalog folder, neither PLD.edf nor BRP.edf.
It appears to me that all data for a particular patient is in the folder C:\Program Files\ResMed'ResScan3\Patients\Name.
Only YYYYMMDD.rlk files for each detailed graph/day.

But I quite sure, at least for my data, Rescan is showing Pressure Zero when I stop the blower.
Don't know if it is correct, but it's how it is working.

The files I'm referring to are on the data card. They get combined and transformed into the rlk files you found in the patient folder. The edf files on the card are the raw data files and can be looked at with other programs such as EDF Browser. Do you copy the files from the card to a folder on your PC or only do the import into Resscan? If you only import into Resscan the files I'd like to look at won't be on the card very long as the S8 overwrites them in just a few days.

Wich software are you using to acces your smartcard data?

You should be able to do what idamtnboy is suggesting with windows explorer, though I suppose it's possible that the driver ResMed provides allows only ResScan to access the card. All that's going to tell you, though, is whether or not blower was actually turned off either by you or the firmware. If it the firmware still was telling the blower to go but it stopped anyway, I doubt a new session would be generated.

If the S8 Smart card and Smart card reader works like the Respironics DT 3500 card reader with the Smart card....it isn't easy to read the smart card contents like it is with the SD cards. I think Jedimark found a way because he was working on making SleepyHead compatible for use with the Smart card data.
I don't remember if he mentioned how he got to the data but it would be over in the latest SleepyHead Beta thread if he did.
