I am curious. Can you please share some more details?

Definitely tighten the range and watch your events--I keep a notebook.
I would recommend mask liners from Pad a Cheek or Remzzz's to quiet the mask farts.
Some have also made DIY mask liners out of an old T-shirt.

Here's one example in this thread...These are Encore reports.
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=67883&p=631376&hili ... mb#p631376
Look at the leak numbers and look at the 90% pressure numbers in above link.
Leaks caused increase pressure and made my 90 % pressure appear to need to be 20 cm.

Long term my 90% pressure over many months is around 12 and my overall average is around 11.5. Below are some examples where my 90% seemed to point to a higher minimum need but these nights aren't my norm. I sure wouldn't want to use 15 cm all the time. So that 90% number sometimes doesn't tell the whole story.

More examples of events driving the pressure upwards
Events drove the pressure up the first part of the night and 90% was 16 cm
Image
And another with 90% 15 cm
Image

But the bulk of my nights look like this one....minimal to no pressure increases beyond the little zipper looking probes which is normal for this machine. I don't need 15 cm minimum all the time.

After looking at the scaled reports in Sleepyhead, the tiny little leak graphs in encore look odd. Although I suspect the encore reports make new users feel less worried.

Maybe it is the other way around - the scaling in Sleepyhead is too wide and makes the user unnecessarily worried.

I am with you on this one. I often have to tell people that those SleepyHead leak graphs aren't nearly as bad as they look because of the scale involved.

My Encore Pro was set to show unintentional leaks on those previous examples and SleepyHead is shows Total leak.
I can set Pro to show Total leak if I wanted to.
Due to scale of the graphs SleepyHead makes mountains out of mole hills in that leak line.
People need to realize that they should look at the scale number. If the maximum leak was 35 L/min...the rest of the graph will often look like mountain climbing because they are zoomed in so close in scale. In reality if looking from afar at less scale those line are quite smooth.

Here's a SleepyHead leak that looks a bit impressive at a first glance.
Image

Same leak using Encore Pro Total Leak which is what SH shows
Image

And same leak using Encore Pro Unintentional leak showing option.
Image

So at first glance SH leak might look a bit scary but in reality the highest the leak ever reached was 47 L/min...well below large leak territory of around 85 to 90 L/min.
But SleepyHead starts the scale at 50 L/min so the viewing is zoomed in so much more detail is seen. It looks much more impressive than it really is.

Now this leak line below is pretty darn ugly. I think it was the first night I tried the new Bella Loops for my Swift FX and didn't have it adjusted well.
SleepyHead....maximum leak reached was 61 L/min...getting awful close to the 90 L/min I try to avoid at all costs but I didn't reach large leak territory and Encore Pro didn't flag it as large leak. So while not the greatest of leak lines...it wasn't bad enough to impact therapy and I shrug my shoulders and move on after a chuckle.
Image

Same report with Encore Pro set to show Unintentional leak only (and Large leak territory is around 70 L/min when we use unintentional leak reporting numbers...I have found this from past experience when I do see a large leak flag)
Image

So the moral of this story....when looking at leak reports in SleepyHead pay attention to the maximum leak reached because that is where your scale will begin and if you don't have much leak...it likely will look more impressive than it really is.

Can anyone share the link(s) for detailed DIY instructions? Definitely worth giving it a try once.

Thanks,
