SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
There is a couple of .deb builds available (a 32bit and 64bit version) for Ubuntu Linux users, thanks to the efforts of SleepyJohn.
The are available here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyh ... ses/Linux/
I also added a generic (32bit) installer type one I built that might work on other Linux distros (Fedora 15 in particular) (the one that ends in ".run")
These builds are 0.9.2, I'm not sure if John synced before or after I added the base F&P icon support..
I'm making progress with the Icon's flow waveform.. just trying to figure out how the timing component works.
It appears the Icon machines only keeps the last 8 or so days of flow waveform. (although I haven't seen enough data yet to confirm this)

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
Mark, I had a crazy data readout for last night on my S9Autoset, hope you can figure it out. I'll give you Resmed's true data readout first: Machine turned on about 10:45PM, turned off about 8:30AM (approximate), Pressure set on auto at 10.4-13.4.
Resmed: Hrs Used=9:47
AHI=2.5
95% Pressure=13.1, Avg Press=11.9, Max Press=13.3
95% Leaks=2.4
SleepyHead: Hrs Used=19.29.25Sleep=23.39 = Wake=9.25
AHI=1.28
95%Pressure = 13.34 Avg Pressure=11.98
No Leak Data
I didn't change anything in Preferences but maybe it's set up incorrectly? Thanks for your help.
EDIT: I just noticed in Overview the sleep and wake times are all 1 hr ahead but the data has always matched Resmed except for last night. I never noticed the times before.

I'm about ready to get a second SD card and put it into the machine immediately whenever I take out my "working" data card. That way, if I forget to take the card out of the PC, I'll still have data.
I'll have to see how the software handles the two cards like that.

If you did get another SD card is it just a normal one from any retail store or does it have to be a special Resmed one?archangle wrote:I'm about ready to get a second SD card and put it into the machine immediately whenever I take out my "working" data card. Any 2GB SD card will probably work. Larger capacity SD cards will probably work, but the machine probably won't use the extra capacity.ched03 wrote:If you did get another SD card is it just a normal one from any retail store or does it have to be a special Resmed one?archangle wrote:I'm about ready to get a second SD card and put it into the machine immediately whenever I take out my "working" data card. Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
SleepyHead will handle 2 or more cards just fine. I have data in one user profile on SleepyHead from the PR S1 APAP SD card...the PR S1 BiPap SD card and even the ResMed S9 SD card.archangle wrote:I'll have to see how the software handles the two cards like that.
I am unsure what Encore would do though. I know that Encore squawks if a person tries to merge M series user data with PR S1 user data. It squawk so bad that M series user data gets killed. I did it..M series data got erased. My fault.

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
I think had problems getting SH to accept data from two different machines, but I just created two profiles and didn't try very hard to debug it. The machines may have had different clock times.Pugsy wrote:SleepyHead will handle 2 or more cards just fine. If I screw it up, I'm no worse off than I am if I forget to put the card back in.

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
SH can handle data imports from multiple locations and skips any data previously imported, so the idea of having 2 SD cards would not be a problem. At least not for the data. However, if you have trouble managing one card, would it be easier managing two? Really?

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
Jedimark...question: I see that I am supposed to set my machine at X1 for my Profile Lite mask. If I change to a different brand, Resmed, do I need to buy a Resmed mask?
BoomersRock wrote:Thanks Jedimark. That is a new bit of information. I checked out the Respironics site. I didn't have the resistance set up correctly, should be X1 (didn't know what that meant when I looked at the display). For my profile lite it can run from 13-52. I averaged 22 last night. I have the machine on automatic and it is consistently running a lower pressure that my prescribed pressure of 13. I think I am doing ok.

Also, the mask literature that came with it didn't explain about the "pressure ports" that have little caps on them that always come loose. Now, at least, I know what they are and that they should be closed!

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
Much easier. I take the card out, put it in the PC, import the data into SH, perhaps copy the data to my hard drive. If I get distracted or involved in the process, I may forget to put the card back.Breathe Jimbo wrote: However, if you have trouble managing one card, would it be easier managing two? Really?
If I swap the cards immediately, even if I forget to switch later, I have my data.

I use a ResMed mask.. I asked the PR rep if I needed to set anything with System One resistance.. She said nope..BoomersRock wrote:Jedimark...question: I see that I am supposed to set my machine at X1 for my Profile Lite mask. Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
I forgot to put my sd card back in my S9 last night, so when I inserted it this morning, then took it back out and opened it in ResScan, it added only Summary Data for AHI, Leak, etc. and not hourly flowcharts to my computer record. I understand that this was to be expected, from reading earlier discussions here on cpaptalk. At least this way I know my numbers for the night and my graphs of nightly summaries are complete.
But when I ran SleepyHead and imported from my sd card, I got no nightly scores at all - no AHI for the night, no Leak for the night, etc. All my Overview bar charts and graphs are empty for last night's slot except for Usage and Session Time Why is this happening? Why can't SleepyHead read and import the night's Summaries as ResScan did?
I thought it could. Is there some setting I have to change in SleepyHead to make it import the night's Summaries?
Nate

PS I just checked back and the last time this happened SleepyHead did give me my night's totals, including Med, 95% and Max in both Daily view and Overview - even though I show the floating "No Data" cube for that night. Why not this time?NateS wrote:I forgot to put my sd card back in my S9 last night, so when I inserted it this morning, then took it back out and opened it in ResScan, it added only Summary Data for AHI, Leak, etc. and not hourly flowcharts to my computer record. Also, in searching prior posts, I just noticed that on Jan 1, 2012, jedimark said:
So I gather SleepyHead should be showing me these from my S9 VPAP Auto's sd card. Any way I can get them in?jedimark wrote:I've made the ResMed importer grab the summary data from the STR.edf, for dates where there is no EDF files, giving for those days at least some useful overview graphs.. (AHI, Session Times, Usage, Leaks & Pressure, plus more for the fancier machines) plus statistics page data... There won't be any daily graphs though.. I'm not sure if this will apply to "brick" machines like the Escape(?), I really need to see what info these 'bricks' store.
