Uncle_Bob has the link for clinician manual in his signature line. I don't know the steps to check therapy hours and blower hours but I bet it is in the clinician manual.

I thought that too, but it is not in there. I have already checked that entire manual.

Advance Info menu (hold down both rectangular buttons) - as described in the clincial menu at the bottom of page 15
This shows the sleep report - shown in the clinical info menu at the bottom of page 16

Shows
Days used
Hours used
Average hours
etc

is this not what you are looking for?

Not sure that this is the accumulated hours on the machine from Day 1?
(i.e. a brand new machine never used - not even for Demo - would show 0 hours).

Thats my understanding although i know on the S8 you could reset those values back to zero via the menus so its not as reliable as a car odometer.

PRS1 machines report both "blower hours" and "machine hours." Blower hours can be reset, machine hours can't.

I don't know if ResMed has similar numbers recorded.

On my home menu, using the info button on right and then the dial on the right, I can change the time period from 1 day to 1 week to 1 month to 6 months to 1 year. That is where I can see the total accumulated days and hours used. Is that what you are asking for? I can also see this info in Rescan.

So, if you had the machine for more than 1 year, you could not determine what the accumulated to date hours were (say 3 years)?

I will have to check that. I think you can still see total hours logged on machine on same screen I am talking about. I think it is the sleep report screen.

The clinician's manual says "Allows the clinician to erase all data stored in the unit and SD
card (except for machine hours). Settings, date and time are not affected." for the "erase data" function. That sounds like there's a non-resettable "odometer" machine hours counter.

I didn't see how to access "machine hours" in the menu from the manual, though.

OK, first press the 'i' button; you will see the sleep report screen, then hold down both the silver rectangular buttons
until the little wrench appears on the bottom line, then turn the knob to the right of those silver buttons ONE click--you
will see a different screen; then you the turn the knob until the 'run time' line appears. This is it.
