For those of you searching for the "link" I'd like to point you as well to the open-source alternative to Encore that I'm working on. It may suit your needs and it's completely free. Visit here: http://www.hoolehan.com/onkor/

I've been working on it for about a month now so it's not very advanced, but it's improving rapidly.

Sounds very interesting. Can you send me a screen shot?
This is the sqigglies
Very interesting. I assume that the pressure pulse is when the machine is trying to determine between an obstructive and central? Things sure have come a long way in the last few years...

I didn't think I was technology challenged, but I cannot find anyplace to download the Encore Pro 2.X software even when I am willing to pay for it. Can anyone help me? Thanks. AM

For EP 1.8 and previous versions (1.4, 1.5 and 1.6), there were "add-in" programs that were developed that would interrogate the EP database and generate separate reports over various user-selectable lengths of time to include other data in the database that typically doesn't appear in the EP or EV reports. Those programs were "MyEncore" and "Encore Pro Analyzer"......developed by forum members "Derek" and "Jskinner", respectively. Without those programs, there is no advantage to use Encore Pro over Encore Viewer because the EP and EV reports essentially look the same.

If you're using an XP operating system on your computer, you could still use "Encore Pro Analyzer" with the EP 1.8.
If you're using Vista or Win 7, I'm not sure what will work with which version.
Several years ago, I decided to stick with the Legacy model Autos and Pro 2s (Pre-M machines) and the EP 1.4 and 1.6 versions so I could continue to use the MyEncore and Encore Pro Analyzer programs (on my XP operating systems) that I started out with when I began my therapy.

Hi Den,
You are so right. Those two "Add-on" progtrams were/are extremely helpful and so much easier to read and decipher your stats.
I don't know what ever happened to "Derek", but Jskinner is still active here as proven by his previous posts on this topic.e. Both of these forum members really helped so many members with their programs and I really appreciated it. I have not seen anything in the way of add-on programs since those came along.

Hi CpapDork.

Glad to see that there may some more options coming to help us read our data.

Thanks for the work and I look forward to seeing a finished program.

Add-ons for Ecnore Pro 2.x would be possible, its just that they changed the database format and thus the current add-ons will not work. I have been meaning to try and make EPA work with EP 2.x but never seem to get around with it. Since I don't currently use CPAP I haven't been that motivated (plus I often don't feel the best) Some day hopefully. I don't have the current version of EP so I would need to get that as well.

Hi James !

Sorry to hear you're not feeling 100%. This APNEA thing is a total drag.

It's hard to explain to someone what it's like to be so tired day after day after day.

But the CPAP Therapy does help.... thank goodness.

Maybe someone can help you in your program update project with a special "link".

Wether you ever find the time and energy or not, I am still greatful for the useful tool you gave to us. It really helped me to understand what I was looking at with all that data.

Best Regards.

Tim

Hi. I just got restarted on CPAP. I would also like to have a link to Encore Pro2. I have 32-bit Windows XP SP3. If someone can PM me that would be great.

Check your PMs.

Also can you confirm which machine and humidifier you use. What you show has been discontinued for a long, long time.
I suspect that you have what I have in my profile. In the drop down menu of the equipment list look for the PR System One choices.

Pugsy,

Thanks for the link. Also thanks for pointing out about the device info, I've corrected it. I'll try to install and set up the EP2 in the weekends.
