Thanks Pugsy good to know about the 7 day detail thing. So that means in the off chance that I have a "spectacular data night" one of these days, I better grab it within the 7 day period so I can print it out, frame it, and hang it over my bed with a couple ribbons! Glad you answered about the Pro version to, I was going to ask if that showed more, but now I know.

For your machine... there is no advantage to use Pro. The main difference pertains to the new PR S1 machines.
Pro offers wave form or flow rate graphs... Viewer does not... otherwise reports are the same.

Though with Viewer you can go back and choose from the calendar that spectacular night and see it later.
All you have to do is change the parameters on the calendars. Both the to and from date calendars are adjustable.
Just go back to the night of the spectacular event for the first date and the next night for the from choice.
Like...from May 1, 2011 to May 2, 2011.... You will get a single night report. The details aren't lost, you just have to go get them in a different way.

I think my version may be screwed up in this regard, that is why I asked the question because I wasn't sure. I have adjusted the calenders for a one day just like you mentioned and as it does show only that one day in the long term parts, it still does not show that particular day in the daily details at all. Just still shows the last 7 days in the detail part. I did notice I can not seem to change the "date range for report" drop down menu either, so I think that also may have something to do with it. Maybe I should re download encore viewer 2 and see if that fixes the problem? I notice I also have always had an error message when I fire it up saying something about a windows-no disc thing, cancel, continue, or retry.

I have Viewer 2.0 available but I rarely use it. I can do what I described. I just now was able to pull up and view Sept 1 and 2 details. I had to use the calendar though.. I was not able to enter date change in that drop down menu either.
I had to put the dates to and from with using both the calendars to choose the dates.

Not sure what that date range thing is since it doesn't seem to allow modification. Older Viewer never had it that I remember so I always just used the calendars to choose dates. Pro does allow date change in its drop down menu and it doesn't use calendars at all.

Have no idea about the error message.. Obviously Windows is searching for something. If you wish to tackle another headache (sometimes it can be a real PITA) with Pro let me know via PM and you can try it.

Disappointed with the limited reports generated by EncoreViewer software. Could someone send me a link for downloading Encore Pro 2? Thanks.

Check your PMs

You might also like to give SleepyHead a try. Developed by one of the forum members and it allows for some interaction that Pro doesn't. Alphaware but pretty darn good. Remarkably stable for me. Not nearly the bloated slow hog that Pro is. I have both but I use SleepyHead most of the time. I can have a report generated in SleepyHead by the time Pro is just opening. PRO is VERY slow.

+1 to SleepyHead from me too. About my only complaint initially was there were no scroll bars for the graphs. However, once I figured out how to use the arrow keys, I was fine. In fact, I prefer not having to use a mouse. I just didn't know about the keys and kind of figured it out on my own.

I am unable to send any PM's. Probably new server glitch. I get some sort of "forbidden" message.
Wonder if I can post a reply.

I just downloaded this to my 64 bit Windows 7 machine. It doesn't accept (or even see?), My the info on my SD card to import. Is it because I have a 64 bit or is it my machine is not supported? Just had ear surgery on BOTH ears from damage caused by my APAP use so have been taken off till both ears stop bleeding etc. ANY help appreciated!
Mike

Lucyandethel... I use Pro 2.4 on this Windows 7 64 bit computer and have a PR S1 machine with SD card and the software finds the SD card just fine. Did you download the 32 bit version or 64 bit version? Was it Pro 2.2 or Pro 2.4?
If you downloaded 32 bit version it won't work on 64 bit version. Pro 2.2 is 32 bit only. Pro 2.4 offers both bit choices.

Loric...regarding your request. I am unable to generate a PM to you. Server problems here apparently with some functions.
Can you send me a private message and I will try to help you with your request?

pugsy.
is there a way to get the waveform data off the card to view in pro2.4. i only see 2 days worth and would like to make a report showing the waveforms and the ensuing centrals i'm generating. it would be nice to find the file on the card then inport it somehow. i've had no luck getting sleepyhed to open on my 'puter. if i download my card every morning and save the data will it just add the new days data or the whole card again?
thanx

fuzzy96...Pro 2.4 doesn't give waveform unless you download each day. For some reason it just doesn't pick up old days if you skip a day downloading. No way to get those old waveforms using Pro 2.4. In the future downloading every day should get most of them. Sometimes a file gets corrupted and waveform doesn't show. Unsure if Pro does a whole rewrite or just adds new data. If you check the History tab for each download date it appears to be a new rewrite for the current detailed data as you can obviously see old data in the selected date in history. I have not been able to determine exactly what happens with a daily download of data. At which point does SleephyHead fail for you? Have you tried the latest version?
