Thank you Dennis, I have had a "fiddle" using your instructions and I seem to know what I am looking at!
What does puzzle me is that when I search the SD card and look at all the files many of the nights only seem to have 001 and 002 - there is no 005, so I can't upload the data.
Any suggestions why this would be the case?
I look at the data in ENcore Viewer and the data for each day is definitely there.

I think the 005 files are wave form data. The machine doesn't necessarily collect wave form data every night. Mine doesn't. Some nights I have 005 file there and some nights I don't. I haven't tried using Onkor without the 005 files. Only have had the machine less than 2 weeks though. I will try it with just the 001 and 002 files to see what happens.

I think you are correct in assuming the 005 files are the wave form data.

For some reason that I do not understand, it appears that the machine does something different in keeping the 005 files. If I download every day into Encore Pro, I get the wave form data every day and a 005 file is on the card. If I wait for several days before downloading, I will only get one or two days of wave form data. The other days will have the info for the daily pressure, therapy flag and leak graphs, but no wave form data and no 005 files, just 001 and 002 files on the card.

Maybe they are trying to limit the amount of data written to the card.

I've been looking at the reports from the three applications. This is what I seem to have observed, and I'd be interested in others' observations:

EncoreViewer will not show waveforms.
EncorePro shows waveforms only for the last one or two nights. It could show more, because,
Onkor can display every breathe you've ever taken on the machine. They are all still on the SD card.

I'm pretty sure 005 is the waveform.

One thing that confused me for a while is that PRS1 sometimes makes more than one file (with 001, 002, 005) per night. Obviously, if you turn the machine off for a pee break, when you restart it, the remainder of the night will be in a new file. But sometimes there are more than one file per night for reasons that aren't clear. EV and EP knit these together on the report, but using Onkor, you have to manually upload each file for the night in order to see the whole record. You have to refer to the dates on the SD card--that you read from your desktop--to be sure you upload all the files for the night you want to review.

The waveforms seen in Onkor and EncorePro are identical, however, if you are interested in the shapes of the peaks, the resolution is much greater in the Onkor report, .

Onkor seems to have more flags than EP or EV, and the Onkor flags don't coincide with the events.

Some of the RERA flags in EP and EV look like false positives, i.e. I can't see anything unusual about the waveform at that point.

Anybody having problems with MS Internet Explorer Version 9 and Onkor application? I cannot get it to display graphs and sometimes it gives me a error message. It tried reading the sample Data that Dennis loaded as an example and it has the same error.

I found the same problem with IE 9. I tried running the site with the Google Chrome browser and it worked perfect. I think some people have reported success with Firefox also. Not sure about IE 8.

I reported my problems with IE 9 earlier in the thread but have not heard any feedback from the developers of Onkor.

I have found that it does seem pretty temperamental on quite a few sites. I will give them a little longer to get things fixed before I jump back.

I haven't used the Onkor site much, as I have Encore running. But, I was asked for some specific feedback in a different thread so, that is how I happened into the issue. Sorry I missed your earlier post, I have to admit that I skimmed a bit.

Sorry, I don't have IE9 anywhere at the moment so haven't been able to test with it.

Also, fyi, my laptop died and am having to move everything to a new one, so there will be some slight delays with onkor. Will you keep all posted.

I'd like to get some input about a new 'timeline" interface I'm working on for Onkor. The idea is to show past therapy in way that delivers information about compliance and effectiveness at a glance.

With the use of another open source product called Timeglider, I've come up with this (two views below of same data):



The view can be panned left and right or zoomed in and out. The colors are based on AHI: blue for low, yellow to red for higher AHIs. Clicking on one of the colored boxes gives the little popup shown, with more AHI/Compliance info and links.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Based on the limited views you have here I would not find them to be of any particular value for me. Probably because I really don't get what it is you are showing.

So he wants to show summary data akin to this summary graph from Resscan? When you mouse over any one of the bars the exact numbers for that bar pop up. I'm not sure if we can expand or contract the timeline of this graph or not. It does slide right & left. I don't refer to it very often so haven't checked out all its options. For summary data I think this Resscan graph presents it pretty good.

I have NOT read the whole thread, but need to (sometime).

My observations:

1) Wave form data is pretty much identical to Encore Pro---except the resolution is much, much better. In Onkor I can zoom in and at a 60 -- 120 second interval I can see that there are many more "ragged" breaths indicating at least some minor flow limitations that are apparent in the 5 minute interval that shows in Encore Pro.

2) I've had no luck at all in getting events to show up in Onkor on any kind of regular basis. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. I'm using Firefox 3.0.something, so maybe that's the problem.

3) As others have commented, there seems to be some serious fragmentation of the files on some nights. And you have to patch things together in Onkor. My question/speculation: Are those mysterious black dots in the Encore Pro wave forms where Pro is sewing things back together? In other words, on a night with lots of black dots in the Pro wave form, are there lots of .005 files?

4) Ever since I've been looking at Encore Pro wave forms, I've noticed both "false positives" and "false negatives" at times, but I haven't looked at the percentage of the mis-scored or missed events. Hence I have no idea just how big a problem this is. But it is a concern. I've been meaning to post some examples if I ever get the time.

5) I really wish there were a slider bar at the bottom of the wave flow the way there is in ResScan so that you can quickly scan data at a tight interval without having to click the dang mouse so many times.

6) The timezone setting is funky and doesn't work on my computer. It picks up my time zone correctly (GMT -4) but displays the times wrong: They are four hours too early. Hence changing the time to GMT fixes the problem. But I have to do this for EACH and EVERY file I want to look at. Bummer.

7) If I try to upload a .001 and .002 pair that does not have a .005 file to go with it, the upload program stalls or crashes. And I usually have to close the browser not just the window to recover.
