HELP!! System One Remstar Pro C-Flex+ (450P)
Re: HELP!! System One Remstar Pro C-Flex+ (450P)
I have the same machine and I can't find the post but it has to be between pages 10-30 on the forum. The post was dealing with humidification and I don't remember which one but it gave how to go into the clinician menu to change the humifier setting back to classic.

Thanks a million!

You are most welcome. I think that was the first thing I ever found when I was looking at how to manage things myself. Then I found this forum.Goofy wrote:Thanks a million!
I could have copied the directions but I saw many of the requests didn't really elaborate on what machine so I decided to take the lazy way out and just post the link for all of them. When I first started they didn't have the pictures, so I guess they do their best to keep up with things.
It isn't a national secret and the cpap police have never knocked at my door. I know the directions have been posted many, many times here but I think that people don't or won't use the search function for the forum. Maybe they did and didn't get the wording to get the results they need. Some don't try. Anyway, handy little website that pretty much covers the majority of machine makers. Especially for threads like this though I would imagine most never came back as I see many were unregistered.
Glad you found it useful too.

For those people who may want another machine's instructions at this website just go to the Home page and look for the link for
something like "Can I adjust my own pressure", from that link they list most machines.

Try READING the thread, Pugsy stated where to go to do this. You will never become an advocate for your own therapy if you don't do your own homework.

OK. Here’s what I’ve discovered. After opening the machine and looking at the circuit board, I saw numerous areas where some white corrosion had bridged the gaps between solder joints. I disconnected and removed the circuit board, then took a toothbrush and removed all of the corrosion; using a magnifying glass to verify it was all gone, top & bottom. This included using a dental flossing brush to get underneath the display. Then I coated the entire board, top & bottom side, with a circuit board paint. This might be be purchased at an electronic supply store like Frye’s. Otherwise, I would recommend using a clear nail polish to do the same (under no circumstance use anything colored or with a metallic ingredient or any water-based paint). Do two coats if necessary. Bottom line, my machine has worked for over a year without another failure.
