Dear sir_cumference of the magical conceptual words.
My, my, my! Oh god, how nice!
The way you did that! Gosh!
No, I rarely use the long words. But oddly sometimes I will write something and a word that I never use will come to mind. Strange thing. In fact, when this happens, I often get to wondering if I really understood the word and if I was using it properly. So inevitably I go racing for the dictionary to see if I had chosen a word for the right reason. (and I'm happily surprised that I had picked the right word) Again, so strange. And in this case, I have NEVER used quintessential before, but thinking of Mikemoran and his special way of writing, the word oddly popped into my head, screaming at me to use it, even when I thought it was dumb to do so. I swear, I hated typing in that word (thinking it foolish), but I was compelled to do so, against my will. I once wrote a poem and it was like someone else was in my head screaming -- Use "will-o-the-wisp"! Odd term and I was embarrassed to use it, shocked it even popped into my head, for I'd never used or even said it before. Yet it was there. ..... Maybe I need therapy! Ha!
Have you ever written any non-apnea poems or such? Anything you'd like to share? Send me a PM, I'd love to read one, anything.
Linda, your fan
