People have called me the Sage for years because I pretty much have the answers for everything. Semi-retired at age 32. Retired at 43...just turned 63 years old August 1st and I live in Prescott Arizona. I'm probably the happiest guy on the planet!! Always have been.

Worked at a nuke plant in Health Physics for almost 18 years then got "downsized" out . Then worked a couple short term contracts at a VA hospital as an Industrial Hygienist and a RCRA auditor. Then worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor at a major silk screening facility until I was fired because 1) the employees liked me more than my supervisor and 2) I was unable to learn Spanish quick enough . Then worked as an Industrial Hygienist for a large (countrywide) environmental consulting firm covering mostly asbestos, lead, and mold abatement jobs as a third party overseer and performing asbestos surveys. After several episodes of inhaling some nasty stuff (metal laden fumes and carbon monoxide) while working jobs I developed frequent lung infections (coughing up blood clots) . Almost fell through a floor on a jobsite, resulting in Gamekeepers Thumb (basically severe hyperextension of the thumb) which has never healed properly and results in my dropping of things I am trying to grab/hold . Almost fell off a roof (should have been a two man job but so should a lot of jobs I was put on alone) when the ladder I was trying to get onto slipped and resulted in severe contusions to my right leg . Severely twisted my ankle walking through a pile of demolition rubble looking for transite (asbestos board) . Developed a herniated disc requiring 3 weekly cortisone (I think) shots to the disc . Finally was fired for being out of work a week (for about the 5th time) due to severe back spasms. Best day of my life. I am now a school bus driver who has been using a C-PAP for two weeks (after a lifetime of sleep apnea) in order to maintain my Commercial Driver's License.

SAHM for the past 35 years. I was the PTA mom who started volunteer programs for the entire district, who then became a full time homeschooling Mom. I did that for 11 years. Eventually the 2 youngest went to a Public school and I have been enjoying my retirement now for 6 years.
I have been a professional seamstress for over 25 years now. I worked for several bridal stores, Special olympics and dance studios.
Now, I sew for the grandkids. We also have rental property that I keep track of.

I build the System One and Humidifiers for Philips Respironics. I don't use a CPAP, but I usually just read on here about what people think of the System One in general.

Then I hope I didn't hurt your feelings when I said that the CA test pulses disturbed my sleep!

I am a stay at home mom of 2 and I cant imagine working feeling the way I do. I am lucky and blessed that my husband has an amazing job that allows me to stay at home. All I know is that I am sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.

After college I worked at a Veterinary Hospital as lab tech and Surgical assistant. A fun and very interesting job. Then 20 years in the Photo giant Eastman Kodak as a Quality Control Tech (wet bench Chemistry). Now I've worked the last 10 years in Iowa in a small company called Genetic ID. I extract, purify, and test DNA... from grains, beans, animal feed, and food products for the presence of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's). Most of these products are for export overseas where they have labeling laws for GMO content.
