On another note (not about JNK), a few years ago there was a poster who openly expressed how much this community meant to him. Then he made an ignorant remark that struck a nerve with many (including me) and the onslaught of criticism made me feel bad for him even though he was sooooooo WRONG. To be honest, I liked this person overall and secretly hoped he would start over with a new identity so he wouldn't have to live under the stigma of his foot-in-the-mouth moment. Who of us wants to be known by our worst moment? I prefer everyone just be for real here, works best for me, but I don't think EVERY incidence of dual identity is with evil intent.

I'm sure you have MANY questions as a newcomer here---about apnea and its treatment. I would encourage you to participate in the other threads and ask the helpful posters there how to fine tune your therapy!

I would encourage that you and the other newcomers not bother with this thread. Lately we have been focusing on regular members who take out additional user accounts to take snide swipes at other members. I mistakenly thought that was cowardly at first. However, reading through the recent posts in this thread I have learned:

1) It’s not really cowardly to reserve a second identity for harsh/antagonistic posts
2) There’s really no difference between taking considerable measures to fool people with a second identity since the primary identity is just as anonymous, and
3) To even DISCUSS the increasing popularity of posters shielding their primary identities behind harsh second identities is what's REALLY cowardly and judgmental

I agree that not every incidence of dual identity is with evil intent. But sometimes a person does something without malicious intent, and still hurts people.

In real life also there are times that we unintentionally, or intentionally, hurt someone. These are all "nails in the fence", as the story goes. One should be cautious about driving a nail into the fence, because even if you remove it, you still leave a hole. However, just as important a lesson, in my opinion, is that human beings make mistakes, and when you do, you must do whatever you can to try to make amends. A sincere apology (e.g., "I'm sorry I hurt/betrayed you. What can I do to make it up to you?") goes a long way toward reparation, and benefits both parties.

SWS has a great vocabulary, but it doesn't have the same effect on me as Cloudy's vocabulary. Cloudy's makes my skin crawl in the good way. I am sure everyone already knows this, as I have mentioned that before. I will go sit in the corner now, for having such a ridiculous crush on Cloudy.

So you have never broken out in cold chills over something Princy did or said? That is what I am talking about. Slightly less of a reaction that Amigo is assuming, however, not a bad reaction like bugs crawling on your skin.
