Bathroom is already a humid mildewy prone place, plus flushing a toilet gets fine dirty water particles airborne. I'm not a germaphobe....heck, I have rarely washed my long tubing.... but introducing the above into a system i use to breathe all night every night doesn;t strike me as good, or actually *cleaning".
My hose carries filtered air, so what exactly do I have to clean out of it? It doesn't smell, and when I run my finger around the inside, I find no residue. What is there to clean? I did soak rinse in vinegar when I first got it to remove any manufacturing reside....
I periodically soak head gear and short tubing in a large stainless steel or glass bowl with a vinegar solution. And air dry NOT in the bathroom.
