Dear Mr. Mars

If You don't like The way this forum is Run or The people Who frequent This Forum Then....

Perhaps This just isn't The place For YOU!! Really

Ever consider that?

Really?
You might be right about this not being the place for me, time will tell about that.

But why do you think that I don't like the people on this forum. If that was the case I would not be here.

It seems you think that me being against abusing newcomers is wrong. So I suppose thats why you make these posts.

Well, Really, you are in a minority. Because most people on this forum are caring and decent people, they just dont like to expose themselves to the kind of posts you see above.

Ever consider that?

Sounds like you might have let Madalot's manipulative meanderings get the best of you.

The fireman should have been welcomed here, not left to be savaged by SAG. I think the thread has been deleted, but I found a quote by DSM about it on -

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=40801&p=357863&hili ... an#p357863

I read the original thread, as many of you did, and the fireman was hounded off the forum by SAG. It was a SAG power trip, and here he is, still on the forum, still abusing newcomers, and newcomers still being told to accept the abuse.
Ah yes, i remember it as though it were only yesterday...

While I admit my hand-drawn artwork may not have been the best, I thought that was overall a fairly informative thread.

Not to mention, numerous examples of the aforementioned "quirky" sense of humor:
SAG wrote:If the patient waits too long to activate EMS ("I can't be having a heart attack-- I exercised 10 years ago, only had 2 bacon-double cheeseburgers for lunch, and am only 50 pounds overweight because I am able to keep my weight down by smoking") or there is a delay in response or transport by EMS, then window of opportunity may be too severely compromised to expect a favorable outcome even with a good D2B Time.

I fear the humor that came up with MASK : 3M N-95 during flu season will never be appreciated in this thread. For some people the internet is a very personal space.. rather than the big open sprawling mess that it is - with many different approach vectors.

Madalot, you have my best wishes on finding what works to enhance your life. That it has been a baffling challenge seems obvious from your frustration with your situation and to the seeming lack of knowledge or just plain confusion from those who are supposed to know more than you. I get testy and demanding at times; it is afterall my life that's at stake, not the expert's. I fired one doc because his opinion of what was primary doesn't match up with that of my or the rest of my team's opinion -- my time/life is too important to be sidetracked arguing with him. I need my team of medical experts working with me tackling issues as they arise and never ever forgetting what is issue number 1. With that said, my heart goes out to you. I am so impressed with the knowledge you've gained and your courageous spirit that keeps investigating solutions. You go Kathy!

As for the content of this thread, I am once again simply astonished by the degree of technical expertise and all the 'aggressive' suggestions and help posted. Y'all amaze me and make me so glad that this resource exists -- thanks Johnny!!!

Can I go sit in the corner and pout now? How do I become the center of attention. I think I will hold my breath until I turn blue.

Wow, alot to read since Friday afternoon.....with that said, I'm still not sure what all the hubbub is about.....maybe someone who was offended/abused could post the specific remarks which offended/abused them it would make more sense to me.....until then I feel it's much-ado-about-nothing.
Canada...I can't say anything nice, so I won't say anything at all.

So many cats, so few recipes.

Previous post deleted by Banned.

My apologies to Madalot and the forum for the very public and distasteful strawman tactic.

It was distasteful for me as well.

Madalot, I do hope you are taking advantage of AVAPS PC. Or have discussed the option with your doctors.

Again,
My apologies to all

Let's take a look at what
time
has done for you..

1) the fireman is back
2) muffy is chugging along
3) madalot is gone.

Good job, Ass-Hole.

Hi All

I think bailachel has a point.

For those who want to call me an "Ass-hole" do not worry. You will have further opportunities, but just not on this thread, which I am now "moving on from" as requested.

Mars

I am sorry that the language used had to find its way into this great place called cpaptalk. I have watched
this thread & kept out because I felt for madalot & understood the anxiety & knew nothing I added would
help. I avoided any commentary on SAG's legendary bedside manner. I still regard SAG as a powerful
resource to cpaptalk.

I make NO appologies for saying that I deleted Banned's foul-mouthed post knowing full well I would lose my
very well earned spam deletion privs. But it has done a lazarus & reappeared so someone clearly feels that
that type of blatantly foul interaction is acceptable & required here - I hope it isn't a USA acceptabe behaviour
because I know it disgusts us Aussies no matter how rough & ready we seem to be - Reactivating that bit
of garbage is abominable - a pathetic position for anyone to take in a place like this. Foul language lies like a
decaying turd in the pathway that we all have to walk past or step over. Those who like it deserve the space
they live in.

Banned you are no longer 'Sir Banned' to me - maybe you should be just become plainly banned altogether.
Remove it and I for one may consider you float somewhat above the gutter but failed momentarily.
