Resmed S9 Software - Where can I get it?

Hi there,
I'm new at this, and only just been diagnosed. I need some help. Just picked up a new S9 Autoset machine (my first one), and it didn't come with any software to check my results. Which version of rescan software suits the S9? Are there any links which I can download the software (hopefully for free)? Also how do I cahnge the upper pressure limit on my machine? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I PM'd you. In terms of setting the pressure limit, the machine will be in AUTO mode, so it will increase the pressure as it sees fit. You can change the upper or lower pressure limits by going into the Clinicians menu by holding down the SETUP and dial buttons for 3 seconds, but I would strongly advise checking with your doctor before changing these options as you might do yourself more harm than good if you don't know what your titrated settings are.

If your doctor hasn't setup your machine correctly to your titrated levels in a sleep study then you should be able to change the minimum and maximum pressures. You can also set the RAMP time on the main front menu if you find the pressure too much for up to 30 minutes.

Yep--just hold down the Info and Setup buttons for 3 seconds and then you can get to the detailed results (shows AHI, OAI, CAI) right on the display. You can also set in the clinical menu to show the AHI number daily under the regular patient Info by setting "Sleep Quality" to "On".

I was just diagnosed with 99 events per hour from a sleep study. I'll be going back in to determine what pressure I need for my cpap and then I plan on getting an S9. Where can I get the software?

I have been using Encorepro software to monitor my use of remstar auto for about 5 years. Next week I will be switching to Resmed S9 and would like to continue close monitoring of my apap use. Can someone direct me as to how to obtain appropriate software? Thanks so much.

when i hold downinfo/setup on mine, i can see all the info for settings, ie max and min pressure etc, but I can CHANGE anything......

to use rescan dont you need to buy the smart card usb dongle thingy?

No the S9 uses a standard SD card, there should be one in the back of your machine just above the filter. give it a little push in and it will spring out.
You will either need a PC with a built in card reader or you can buy a very inexpensive reader.
