Turner Medical - Not a Respectable Company to Deal With
FYI CPAPTALKERS ---
I purchased a pulse-ox SPO-7500 from Turner medical about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
Right after I purchased it, the price was reduced from $409 to $350. I requested a price adjustment of $59 and Turner Medical refused.
I asked them to reconsider their refusal and to credit my account, and again Turner Medical refused to adjust the price and offer me a credit.
I am very, very sorry I purchased from them.
I will never give Turner Medical any business in the future.
It is my hope that you consider my experience if you are thinking about dealing with them.
Buyer Beware.

Not sure you have a totally valid complaint. Can't really expect to get a sales price prior to it being offered unless there is a price matching warranty. Frustrating to find an item at a reduced price after purchase, I agree.gailandartie wrote:FYI CPAPTALKERS ---

I, too, fail to see what they did that's not "respectable".

If the price would have go UP $59, would you have complained you didn't get charged enough?
This is just one of those things you have to deal with when buying ANYTHING. It seems like my wife frequently buys stuff the week before it goes on sale, too.

I've done business w/Turner Medical and found them very reputable and good to do business with. They are no cpap.com but they were still good to do business with. In fact it was the SPO 7500 that I bought. One of the first models on the market.

I guess everyone is misinterpreting my use of the word "respectable" and calling it my bad luck.
Regardless, Turner Medical is not the kind of company that I want to give my repeat business to. I want to deal with companies that VALUE my patronage and respect me as a customer.

Suit yourself.
Now that the price is down to $350, I might buy one from Turner.

In 2007, my company purchased a vehicle from GM....and I could have purchased the same GM vehicle in 2009 for less money. Did I whine that GM should give me a partial refund? Of course not.
Prices change.....competitive situations change......currencies change value. Get used to it....because a lot more is coming our way.
I paid Turner Medical a lot more than $350 for my SPO-7500......and I'm still happy with Turner and the SPO-7500.
The tool is simply a "better buy" now....than it was "then".
I'll still recommend Turner Medical.

I brought a Laptop from Best Buy last week, now that same laptop is $150 less on sale this week. Should I demand the difference back?.....Just the luck of the draw.
I too just purchased a $350 7500 from Turner Medical, maybe I'll demand my money back if it goes down to $250 LOL!!!!

Best Buy does have a policy about matching prices for a range of time, so you might just get that lower price....won't hurt to ask!!

I know in our region when we make a purchase for example on Saturday, and the flyers come out on Sunday with their current sales, we do not get a refund of the difference between our Saturday purchase price and the Sunday special price. In my opinion, it is the same thing.
Some things go down in price, others go up.
You can't expect retailers to give "refunds" everytime something goes down in price. If that was the case most retailers couldn't stay in business. Many times their costs fluctuate and is reflected in the price they charge. If a retailer purchased an item wholesale for XXX price and sold it at the usual markup, then the price goes down XX amount wholesale and their markup stays the same the store can charge less.

To me the credit on the account should have at least been given, if the item was purchased under 30 days. Certainly most places where I live offer this, if the price drops within 30 days, they give back the differance. To me it is good customer relations and keeps a person as a future client. It certainly ( policies like that) has kept me shopping at the same place.

So it's settled...
When Best Buy and other big box retailers who have Sunday sale flyers start carrying CPAP equipment, y'all will be ready for them.
Meantime, what do any of those quoted policies have to do with the way Turner Medical chooses to do business?

Re: Turner Medical - Not a Respectable Company to Deal With
Here is my latest story related to free market pricing. I was very busy last week, but suddenly Sunday at 2:00 p.m. our wonderful guests left, the house became very quiet, and I could see my wife just wanted to lounge around the rest of the day. Feeling full of energy (thanks to CPAP and cpaptalk.com), I quickly changed clothes and drove to the nearest train station. I took the train to the stadium for a 4:00 p.m. NFL kickoff.
At the stadium I conducted lengthy negotiations with several scalpers. Finally I traded a $10 bill for a $78 ticket. I took my seat and began to chat with the guy on my left (Who he turned out to be is a story for another day). The guy told me he had two tickets that were a gift and at the last minute his friend could not come to the game. On the way in, he sold his friend's ticket to a scalper for $20 and he wanted to know how much I paid for "his" ticket. He was impressed that I was able to buy a $78 ticket for $10.
The couple to the right of me overheard that I paid $10 for a seat beside them and told me they paid a scalper $150 each for their two tickets. Now the wife became very upset at her husband, adopted a stone face, and did not speak for the entire game. I have a feeling the wife had much to say on the three-hour drive home.
Get over it.
