If the item were still new when it went on sale, why not just return it and reorder at the lower price? Surely they had at least a 30 day return policy. I purchased a bipap machine and notified of a problem with it in 2 weeks. They waited out the 30 day return to reply and then when they did, said it was to be returned within 30 days for replacement. They offered to swap it for a used machine (refurbished). After haggling and posting, they eventually refunded my money and say they will no longer do business with me. So, it sometimes works for and sometimes against you.

Sheesh, I feel sorry for the guy! I had a few friends who were like that...how-why their hubbies tolerated that behavior is beyond my understanding...maybe that's how they viewed it, the rest of the marriage was worth the occasional inexplicable unpleasant incidents

Another company Slinky, not Turner Medical. I've never had any dealings with them. Actually was this company here.

Holy heck really? So you bought a brand new machine from this company here, notified them of a defect right away and they gave you grief over replacing it? Even went so far as you tell you they you couldn't purchase from them anymore?

Hey mattman. I used email and maybe should have called. But who would have thunk it? I guess one has to understand a warranty when they purchase on the Internet or in a local store. With most OSA machines, the warranty starts when the manufacturer ships the machine to the dealer, when it leaves the manufacturers dock. So, if the dealer has the machine on a shelf for 15 days, it leaves the days left after it is shipped to you, maybe 10? That is to return it for a full refund. After the 30 day warranty period, it is yours and the manufacturers with a 2 year warranty to replace it with a refurbished one. The dealer then becomes the middle man. I understand in some cases, you can actually get the full 30 days even after the dealer has had it a bit. I guess it depends on the dealer huh? Seems the Turner Medical may not extend any extra time. But, as I said before, I know nothing of them and was merely responding with a suggestion. I figure it is to late now anyway, but perhaps for the future. Some stores will give you a 30 day low price guarantee, if you find it cheaper within 30 days, they will match and usually give you 5% of the difference extra. I guess the old statement of buyer beware will always apply.
