I have a feeling Rock & Roll, who started this whole idea rolling of putting faces to the names by posting our avatar photos of ourselves, could have had to evacuate from his home tonight because of Hurricane Rita. First of all, I'm sure we all wish him and the others who are in his position a safe evacuation and speedy return. Let's hope they all don't sustain any damage to their homes and properties and can return real soon. Our prayers are with them all.

Keeping in the spirit of his suggestion, I just thought it would be a great idea to make a list of everyone who has now been brave enough, or just plain willing, to share their "mugs" with us all. So if you have done so, please copy and paste the prior list, which I will start below, containing the screen names of the members who have come before you and then add yours to the new post just so we can see how many people actually took part in this event, if you wouldn't mind. I'll get the ball rolling. All you'll need to do is copy the part below and then add your name. If your photo has been on for some time before this, please feel free to add your name, too, but put "existing" next to it so we know your photo has been here beforehand. At least we'll then have an accounting of whose photos are linked to their user names. I thought it might be interesting to see.

Thanks, Beth, for being the first to respond to my idea of the list.

Did you notice how many men finally started to reply and post their photos today? What is it with men and waiting for us brave ladies to go first and test the waters??? But I guess my baiting worked (LOL).

I wanted to say thanks to you for posting your name right away but didn't want to break the list with another post in between. So thanks!

Lori,

This is quite unfair - how can us comparitive uglies compete with such handsome brutes - I mean look at WillSucceed I stopped looking like that many years ago (if I ever did in the 1st place), and as for handsome oldies like Bill (WAFlowers) I don't even want to compete !. Now we have all these new photos of what can only be retired movies stars.

If this keeps up I will form a protest group here called DANG and we then may be forced to report you to the federal anti-discrimination authorities.

against my better judgement.....switching from Snork to actual photo...at least for now.
I also tend to be The Photographer, as a great strategy to mostly avoid being IN the photos.

Sorry to break the flow, but I had to answer DSM:

LOL!!! D.A.N.G.? You are too funny. The point of the whole experiment (R&R, back me up) is not how good-looking you are, but just to be able to see who we talk with all the time. NO ONE COULD CARE LESS IF YOU'RE GORGEOUS OR NOT. I certainly don't. It's just great to finally SEE faces.

Please reconsider, pretty please, with a cherry on top and rainbow sprinkles??? (worked for my daughter...)

Okay, back to our regularly scheduled posting...please continue on with the list. It's going great!!!
