I think a cruise would be fantastic! Great place to socialize. Don't rule out Galveston, we have taken cruises for as little as $299.00! We have cruised once a year for years.

Vegas is also a good place as there are charter flights and during the week there are cheap hotels.

I think it would be AWESOME to put faces to the names that post here though. Be great if something worked out.

OK its settled...we're taking a cruise to Minnesota in December for a Hosehead Christmas...(oh oh....I fear someone inclined to do poems may be lurking near with a Hosehead Christmas carol) and as a gift, one of our Aussie friends will supply all who come with hose warmers...LOL...T

Am I starting to see a little enthusiasm for my idea here? I hope so. I really am looking forward to going ahead with this, but we'd really have to have enough people interested. Otherwise, it's a vacation and hopefully we can all meet with our families somewhere and have a nice week/weekend together. That would be the alternative, I guess, if we don't get a large enough response. I want to meet you guys. Hey, we'd have a lot to talk about...at least I would (never run out of things to say).

We can hold the get together here at my home.

We are not far from Gurnee Mills Outlet Mall and 7 Mile Mall is just west of me.

I live in Wisconsin, Union Grove.

Sharon,

What size mansion do you live in and aren't you the grand hostess? You would trust the lot of us crazy, sleep-deprived lunatics in your home? You are some gracious woman!!!

R&R,

Not a Disney person, eh? I was only there once in my life in 1999 and want to go back again so badly.

And, Neversleeps, where are you getting all these photos from???

Absolutely not, too crowded, long lines for short rides, expensive, what's to like?

Never did understand the draw.

Now, Busch Gardens right down the hallway, I'm there!

After the races we'll have a delicious dinner of lutefisk and lefse (after all, I am a full-blooded Norwegian....).

Then its off to the sauna followed by a quick refreshing dip.
