Just one question, offsicer... Who gets to keep the two twenties then?

This is fun....BUT....

how did I get to be the offsicer????

All I did was ask a simple question....
and DS was the only one who interpreted it correctly
and answered accordingly.
...and now I'm the police.

I'm an innocent victim of circumstance.

I mistakenly thought you were playing the humorous role of grammar police a few posts back. Okay, I'll play the authority villain next time...

Ain't the first time I really REALLY badly mistaked readin' posts... <-SWS slinks out of grammar jail after posting the coincidental sum of $80 bail money>

So I have been reading here and just wanted to say thanks even though you didnt know you helped, you did!

Just curious how many people here are in the 100+ club? My AHI is 126.6 OS was 65 ( No Kidding!)
Doc says Im lucky I have not had brain damage... or maybe I have!
Hey if you cant joke about then what good is it! When I go to bed my wife laughs because I do stuff like... "Houston CRRK Command Module is passing behind the moon CRRK We will talk to you again tomorrow CRRK..."

So with that comment I guess you can tell Im a full mask kinda guy.

Necro, welcome aboard! The great news is that you're diagnosed and on the road to recovery. Fortunately your brain sounds alive and well reading that humorous post of yours!

Hi everyone,
I'm also relatively new here. Great forums BTW. Posted once as Apneaguy, but decided to change my name. I've been reading here for a while. I've also been accused of loud snoring and not breathing in my sleep since my 20's. 45 yrs old now. Had a sleep study in April/09 .
RDI / AHI in supine position 130
AHI non supine 55.4
Among other issues.

Using S8 Autoset II.
settings 4-10 cm H2O Auto, EPR=2,
Ultra Mirage II nasal mask.

Average AHI on CPAP approx: 3.5

Cpap seems to be working very well for me, have software and card reader on order so I should be able to track things a bit better than with a simple database and LCD readouts, once they arrive.
See below. Chart at bottom are more recent readouts from LCD in Autoset II.

Welcome, Hoser-Eh! I'll bump your details to this page if you don't mind. If your highest AHI is 5.9---almost all hypopneas---then your treatment really does seem to be going well. Congratulations!

on edit: Jeff mentioned having spotted an AHI night of 8.4... On whole, the numbers still look really good IMO considering that high untreated AHI . Thanks, Jeff.

No, you're good.
I was actually going back a number of weeks of posts in reference
to the question and DS response.

It's my memory.....since I actually have one now, since cpap....
I surprise myself.

....sorry for the confusion.

Look here for the instructions on how to get into your clinical menu (good idea to write down what you see in case you change something on purpose or accidentally and want to go back)
http://www.cpap-supply.com/Articles.asp?ID=130

Daily data off the LED screen normally will show 7 and 30 day averages which don't really show how one night went so you can reset the averages to zero each night and follow individual nightly data which tells you how each night went.

The software is the best way to go to really see how your therapy is working and to monitor leaks, etc.
If you read some of my posts you will likely see a few examples of software. I have a recent one going about my F/U (follow up) with my doctor.

Private message me if you have any questions about the software or results. I don't mind.

To reset your averages shown on the LED screen you can do this.
==========Resetting LCD Display Data====================

To reset LCD Therapy data (does NOT erase any data from SmartCard):

1. Hold down the (<-) (->) buttons while plugging in the power on the back,
wait for 2 beeps or 5 seconds, release buttons.
2. Press the (->) key and navigate to Therapy screen.
3. Press and HOLD down the (-) minus key for 5 seconds and/or until therapy data is reset to Zero.
4. Press the (->) key to scroll back to main menu, press (+) key to enter Setup or
On/Off button to exit.

Thanks, ozij.

Yep, if I had to pick the six words I would never dream could come out of carbonman's fingers, those would likely be the six.

You've been missed around here, a LOT.
