My husband (of 34 years) is so happy I have the mask and machine - the mask doesn't inhibit anything! As someone else mentioned already - it can be off in a flash! I've been a bad snorer for years and my apnea scared him badly. Now that I'm sleeping well and quietly, he's getting more sleep. It's good all the way around! smile...

Duuuude... I meant I'll tell her you're UNAVAILABLE! Sheesh.... Like I want to be related to YOU...

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

So......why would you even have to let her know????? Hmmmmm???
(I wasn't aware that she had me in her sights)
Hey, you don't even KNOW me (that well).
Being "related" to me might not be as bad as you're making it sound.
(but we'll never know)

As a divorced woman...turning 40 (ohhh too soon)...wondering HOW does one even begin
dating once again, let alone being on cpap therapy. I took many years off from having a relationship
and raised my sons, but one look at the 'singles scene' sends me running. I truly dont want to spend the remainder of my life alone either.
HOW does one start over, yet remains a mystery to me. How to meet a 'nice guy'...is overwhelming
enough, but starting over with my cpap feels like I've bit off more than I can chew.
Any folks out there been there, done that?

I met my current lady love on Craig's List. It does work sometimes but you have to be careful and have a sense of humor. Many times you can read between the lines and tell whether someone would be worth a reply. I have never posted myself, just answered a very humorous ad with an equally funny reply. Worked for me.
The CPAP thing was never an issue. Before it could have become an issue, it was discussed and so never became an issue.
Now I am encouraging my lady to use my CPAP for a couple of nights running. She snores badly, snorts, gasps, and often will change position to breath again. No insurance right now so we are going DIY sleep study.
So, don't be worried about CPAP. There are many other dating pitfalls to be concerned with. I think CPAP rates way down there. You might even get an opportunity to introduce CPAP to someone who needs it and didn't even know it.
BTW, good luck.
Tony

Thank you Tony...and all of you for your responses, as I've realized in reading these replies,
its not such a big deal. (It is just AIR) connected to an ugly hose, LOL

You reminded me of the lyrics to the song by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood that the Hollies made famous:
"Sleep, silent angel, go to sleep
Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you"

...and if you get your favorite hose cover from PadaCheek's wonderful
selection, it will be your beautiful hose connected to air.
