I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Echo, you have let it go way too far if you start having nightmares like mine:

I have a vision that we will figure out an easy way to ensure that children develop wide, deep, healthy and attractive jaws and then obstructive sleep apnea becomes an obscure bit of history.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ycw4uaX ... re=related

Please recall that exterior looks are superficial. At least for me, after getting to know the inner person, I think that their outer looks match their inner selves. Image

I think that making CPAP use a big deal is a big mistake. Hey, it can just come up in casual conversation. As I've pointed out before, the use of CPAP is a perfect screening tool for future long-term mates. One who accepts this without a hitch is a keeper.

Besides, I've recently had a friend find out that his new female-person-of-interest was ALSO a CPAP user. Who knows? There are a lot of us out there... Image

Rooster, you know you have to help care for and feed those babies. Image I have always loved your current avatar for that reason.

Sincerely, from the comfort of her nest (which greatly annoys the baby birds who do not care for the quills),

Karen

Karen, you have the best smileys and emoticons I've ever seen, hands down! I just love seeing your posts!

Not to make lite of apnea, but I have noticed a number of people mention "smoking" something other then ciggerettes. I am not innocent. Is there a conection with the green and apnea? As much as I love the green, I hate the machine more!

Yikes!!! No last night I dreamed I was 9 months pregnant but only realized it in the 9th month and then I started giving birth in the street because we didn't make it to the hospital (they didn't believe i was going into labor) (and no it wasn't eggs but a normal human baby. I think)

No. And my mentions are WAY PAST TENSE these days. But I am going to Oly Hempfest this weekend, it could happen.

Smoking ANYTHING is bad for your lungs. Having asthma and other respiratory disease is NOT the same as OSA. OSA is an UPPER airway constriction. For most people, smoking doesn't affect the UPPER airway.

In my case, however, I have permanently enlarged tonsils. They do get larger when I smoke ANYTHING, and I try to avoid doing that, but lately, I've been very frustrated in a variety of arenas of my life, and have taken up smoking cigarettes again. I favor Cloves too. Double Ooops.

Anyway, I believe when my tonsils are really serious swollen, I have worse apneas.

LOL,
Babs

Okay, Hijacking my own thread.....

Canadian Humour

The day after his wife disappeared in a kayaking accident on the western shore in Canada , a man answered his door to find two grim-faced Mounties.

'We're sorry sir, but we have some information about your wife said one Mountie. 'Tell me! Did you find her?' the husband shouted.

The Mounties looked at each other. One said, 'We have some bad news, some good news, and some really great news. Which do you want to hear first?'

Fearing the worst, the ashen husband said, 'Give me the bad news first. '

The Mountie said, 'I'm sorry to tell you, sir, but this morning we found your wife's body in the bay.

'Oh my God!' exclaimed the husband.

Swallowing hard, he asked, 'What's the good news? '

The Mountie continued, 'When we pulled her up, she had 12 twenty- five pound snow crabs and 6 good-size lobsters clinging to her.'

Stunned, the husband demanded, 'If that's the good news, what's the great news?'

The Mountie said, ' We're going to pull her up again tomorrow.'
