Respironics Remstar Plus CPAP to be discontinued

Post by mark0680 » Tue Jul 29, 2008 3:46 am

Not sure if anyone has heard this or not. Could be a good time to buy a Remstar Plus if you could not previously afford one. They are selling for only $299.00

Mark,

I hate to burst your bubble, but that article is over 2 years old. Respironics has discontinued the whole Legacy series. Unfortunately, they still carried over the Plus model (non-data-capable) into their M Series line.

(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

it's also a moronic, poorly-written, unofficial "press release" full of non-truths.

Too bad it wasn't the truth tho and at least one company wised up and quit producing those stupid CPAPs that can't produce any worth while data.

Yes! A lot like the guest posts on this forum!
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

That's absolutely true! Sales hype to push older models. And, if you go to the links to the site they're advertising, there are lots of older models still listed.......Hmmmmm.....

I liked this part:
Many offer smart card technology for patient data tracking. Now a patient does not have to return for a follow-up sleep study. All they have to do is take their smart card into their doctor for a full review of the past 9-12 months of sleep patterns and trends.

It says "many".......not specifically the "Plus" model.
