I see you have the item listed on your site now but it's not yet orderable - any idea when that will be?

bret

i looked at the site, and while the pap-cap appears listed in the drop-down of products, when you click on pap-cap there is nothing on that page

should i just wait for an update?

this chinstrap looks really interesting to me...i'm curious as to the price, etc.

thanks bret, for all you do

Sharon and all, I'm having some technical problems with the product listings but will try to get product on the website over the weekend.

The retail price is $40.

I'm working to get a lot more inventory but right now only have a few dozen total units.....

Okay, I have some inventory on the website.

I had to put it under the Dreamweaver category. I have a total of 12 fabric styles / colors and will be adding more over the weekend.

OK, I'm super tired and cranky from a lousy night's sleep (swallowing air again!), so this will sound more grumpy than probably intended:

Can we get one in "plain" too the next time you order stock? I'm a relatively young woman who already looks ridiculous enough in my current getup (which any given night involves some combo of one of 4 masks, a leg of pantyhose, bandaids, medical tape, etc.). Please don't tell me that the one thing that might help me make a reasonable comfortable mask work (nasal pillows) and stop my painful, gassy air swallowing is a cap that only comes in patterns that to me look like "grandma's fanny pack". For me that's not fun and festive, it makes me want to weep and throw in the towel. Offer me one tiny shred of dignity in all this....I've got so little left after 10-11pm and I'm afraid of sleeping alone (or insisting on total darkness) for the rest of my life!

Thanks for letting me rant. Feeling a little better now.

(A solid navy blue might be the way to go. Or black.)

I just circulated a newsletter but there might be a hang-up because apparently it has not yet made it through the server. And I hear you on the plain fabric. Most of the blue fabrics are pretty basic......the maps and bubbles....

disclaimer: I hope people read the above with a sense of humor, as the rant of an involuntary hose-head (only getting partial benefit but still compliant through it all) who is almost at the end of her hose today.

No personal attack on anyone else's sense of style or taste (or ingratitude towards the folks who come up with these things to try to help!) was intended.

(Silently sobbing on the inside while I try to decide between "maps" and "bubbles".... )

Don't get your hopes up. I doubt that your gassing is caused by mouth breathing. Air is not actually swallowed to cause gassing. The xpap pressure causes it to leak past the upper and lower esophogeal sphincters.

Do the caps come in a pattern like, "BROKEN bubbles"?

(On a more serious note, yeah, it's definitely been a worse problem, on and off, since my pressure nearly doubled (though it's not every night anymore, thank goodness). I only have a real problem once a week or so now, for some reason. It seems to be a bit less likely when I don't use a mask that allows mouth breathing, i.e. nasal mask with taped mouth, instead of my FF or Hybrid. Even that is no guarentee for me, however.)

Looks like he's on track with his new invention here. I'll be buying one in the near future. I like the interesting dreamy like color patterns!

So, early next week I will add plain ol' black, navy, and royal blue. Nice, light cotton fabric.

Did anyone actually get the Newsletter? Please let me know because it looks like the mail server is not cooperating.

The RipStrips will actually replace cpap headgear (the Neoprene part) by allowing many types of headgear tie back into the PAP-Cap. I need to put together a little Flash animation to show what I'm talking about. It's pretty cool, imo.
