my2brats:
i had just finished posting a response to cajapoto, thanking him for his kind and thoughtful repsonse, but reiterating that your original post seemed condescending and sarcastic; by the time i had posted it, you had responded to everyone's comments, so i deleted mine, thinking that you may already be feeling beat up on...now that i've read the two subsequent replies you've posted, i regret deleting mine...it wasn't unkind or inflammatory, by any means, i simply stated that if you took the time to read the entire thread you might come to learn that we have all been where your husband was, or can at least allow for the possibility, and that in these times when anger is an expression of fear, compassion and empathy goes a long way toward defusing the situation
but now i see that you aren't willing to learn from the wise people on these boards and indeed, choose instead to mock and patronize, a reaction that i agree with jeffh comes from hitting your raw nerve more than ours...i hope that you can see that the way you've responded to something we all feel so strongly about is exactly the same way you responded to your husband-- while i admit that it's not always a pleasant experience to have a mirror held up to us, a litte self awareness goes a long way...if you can move past your pique at not being successful in your original bid for support in minimizing and denying your husband's fear, you might just learn something from the people here
den, as always, you are a gentleman...thanks for that

Well, I was thinking that maybe some nightly spousal water boarding might help balance out some of the crankyness in their marriage ... but I now think the husband might not survive that much O2 desaturationWulfman wrote:On the other hand, maybe they're like my wife and me. Hey double bratt! ... get your husband on the forum and we'll have him rolling on the floor in no time
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Taking my cue from our esteemed colleagues in D.C., I have flip flopped. I was for this before I was against this.

When she mentioned that he had been in law enforcement for 25 years......well, that just put EVERYTHING into perspective.
Den (has had many friends in "law enforcement"....and wondered how they got on THAT side of the law)

my2brats, thanks for being a good sport about this thread. After finding this forum for the first time, someone I know commented to me that it sounds like some people on the forum need some more sleep
All of that said, this is a fantastic place to get some very good advice from people who know a whole lot more about xPAP (and a lot of other stuff) than I ever will.

thanks SleepGuy!
too bad 'sportsmanship' doesn't go far here. Too bad so much energy was spent being mouthy and out and out rude but that goes with the territory I suppose when dealing with, um, let me guess... people??
Regardless, cpap.com was a great bit of advice that I got and we've ordered some equipment today. As far as insight from spouses of CPAP wearers... oh I already know that answer to that judging by the reaction I rec'd from all the friendlies I found here. (except for the few that actually read what I said rather than interpreted a WHOLE new meaning to my correspondence)
Who has more fun than people, really! Barrel of laughs!

It's not the CPAP that makes the hubby cranky ... it's the bratty wife

so for anyone of you think that I may have stepped on his most recent mask... hell no... but I sure as hell will step on the new one
how does the crow taste? knowing what I am up against?
