Today I sent an email to Hans Rudolph asking about the rumor I heard that they had a new mask coming out. I got a reply back from Kelly Rudolph. Here is his reply to my inquiry:
Jennifer,
Thanks for the email.
Please review the attached data sheet and color brochure.
The new V2 seal is designed to seal on the nose bridge better that the firs generation Vmask version.
There are many other changes we made per feedback the last 5 years.
The first 3 sizes of Large, Medium and Small should be available for sale in August sometime. The next two smaller sizes will follow and be available in September.
Thanks and contact us with questions.
PS: Who do you buy your masks from?
Best Regards,
Kelly Rudolph,

As some of you may know, Hans Rudolph is the only full face mask I can use due to my bony nose bridge. All the other ff's are too painful and I can't get them to stop leaking. So, I'm very curious about any improvements they have made to it. I hope to try it after it comes out.

Hans Rudolph? Aren't those the two guys from Saturday Night Live in that "Pump you up skit"?
Glad it works for you, but I haven't read a lot of positive results with their masks. I know I contacted them once about a mask and sizing and never got a response.
They have been around longer than Keith Richards, they do have a website:

That is true, about negative results. I think Americans are ordering the wrong size because these run BIG. You have to get a size or two smaller than what you would wear in a standard full face mask.
Now that would be a sight: Hans and Franz on cpap, pumping us full of air!

It does look like gear you could use in a fighter jet or somehting.

It "may" be a decent mask, but upon first look, I'm not liking the way that top strap comes up alongside the eyes.

No problemo with a pair of Pad-A-Eyes ...

Jen,
Thanks for the pictures. It appears to address the current concerns with the old version (you know, the one I purchased yesterday).....
I did follow your example, and I emailed them as well. However, I was only bold enough to ask for the sizing calipers, as I can't afford another mistake (seems my local DME has a no return policy...ouch).
It will be interesting to see what comes of this, you will get a free mask and can tell us all about it, then I will get the free sizing calipers, and can order one without worry of it being the wrong size.

Ok, Gasp, I know I'm setting myself up for "big schnazz" jokes, but I occasionally use the hans rudolph 7600 vp size small--it fits fine, but the tip of my nose does "bump" the shell of the mask. Now I KNOW you all are going to be looking really close at my avatar to see just how big my nose is! Really, it isn't that big--I look normal, I swear!
Jen
Its your receding jaw, not a sticking out nose that causes that nose to shell collision...
