A mask, a backpack, Victoria's Secret, sleeping on my side!
A mask, a backpack, Victoria's Secret, sleeping on my side!
OK, this seems to be working REALLY WELL to keep me sleeping on my side.
I got a backpack, stuffed a pillow in it and put it on. There's no way I can roll onto my back with this on. The first night I tried a small soft pillow and it worked pretty well, but I could still backroll. Last night I tried a bigger firmer pillow and no way could I roll onto my back.
The backpack very small, is made of thin nylon (I got it free when I signed up for an Audubon Society membership). So, it's not too bulky to sleep with it on.
The straps were chafing in front, so I put on a satin Victoria's Secret short gown that has cap sleeves. This way the straps kind of glide around and are less binding. This is relatively cool for summer. (Sorry guys, if you want to try this, you'll have to figure out a different kind of shirt. Do they make satin t-shirts?).
So now, I go to bed wearing my mask, with my mouth taped, a short satin Victoria's Secret nightgown, and a backpack that says "Audubon" on the back. What can I say? It's a "look."
I can only hope I never have a fire in the middle of the night. I wouldn't want to have to explain this get-up to the neighbors .

What a visual! A sense of humor in all this really helps, doesn't it!
P.S. I understand about not wanting to have to leave the house in an emergency in your "getup". I had to leave quickly in the middle of a bitter winter night due to a fire. Since I was nearing menopause, I dressed like it was summer year round. Shivering and jumping up and down because the ice was painful on my bare feet, I retained enough vanity to dodge the news camera crews. I would have just been embarrassed, because I kept no "secrets" that night. You - well, folks would be rather perplexed at your choice of role play gear. Thanks for the chuckle.

We're at the point where we're buying tickets to the Police for the whole family - and I'd give a million to be back buying tickets for Disney on Ice.socknitster wrote:I DO believe it since we just spent a little more than that for the whole family to see THOMAS THE TRAIN (!!!!!!!) in person!

Re: A mask, a backpack, Victoria's Secret, sleeping on my si
Sorry, but I've already been contacted by VS about the photos. It's looking like I'll be featured in their new Fall CAPwear line ads. I'm keeping the photos "under wraps" for now pending contract completion. VS discovered that cpap use restores sexual health by reading this forum and decided to reach out to a new demographic. . .Bert_Mathews wrote:I think a PICTURE is needed ---- I'm sure it would get posted on my wall???RosemaryB wrote:OK, this seems to be working REALLY WELL to keep me sleeping on my side.
