The site sure is taking a long time to load, but I'm interested in this if it isn't too pricey.

Not pricey at all...........in fact, I think it is one of the most economical (price vs. quality....and what you actually get for your money) things I've seen in this therapy so far. Take a look.

Chris, My F&P cpap uses a cheap disposable water chamber made from soft plastic that really stinks things up.. I don't think it's the smell of the evaporating water per se that you're getting at here; it's the smell of the resin and surrounding plastics that leach more quickly in the presence of, guess what, heat and humidity. I wish the manufacturers would take note of these things and select materials that do not leach plasticisers, vinyl chloride, styrene, and the like--especially for the HH water chamber and the hose.Sleepy-eyes wrote:Smells "dirty" to me. I don't think you will be disappointed. My first couple of nights I wasn't sure, but after discovering that one drop is Plenty for me, I have really started to appreciate the good smells.muld00n wrote:Ordered mine today. Can't wait.

I wonder how much of it is like Pavlov's dog? The body becomes trained that when it smells those good aromas it is time to sleep. Some day when I am not tired, I will have to give it a try and see if I fall asleep quickly by using the aromas even though I'm not tired in the middle of the day....

Steve, I think you'll be really glad you got the Pur-Sleep system. It's working great for me at this point. As far as fragrances affecting appetite..............just don't get one that reminds you of food! (Don't think I'd want to eat a lavender flower!)

I think you wil be really happy with the product. I find the clear(peppermint) is not overpowering at all and with the orange spice I just use less than what the directions call for and its great. I just wish you could get in to apply the essential oils without having to unscrew the chambers. would make it a whole lot easier for lazy people like me. otherwise its a great product.

I just downloaded my data for the morning and realized something significant.............at least to me it was...............and wanted to pass along the info.
I've been on the Pur-Sleep system for 14 nights now and have noticed an improvement in my sleep but didn't know, really, how to get across how much better I'm sleeping. I normally get out of bed once or twice a night to answer the call of nature. In the 14 nights I've slept with the aromatherapy, I've only gotten out of bed 8 times to paddle off to the lew. Obviously I'm sleeping so deep I don't even know my bladder is full. I'd say that's a pretty significant improvement in sleep. I know I sure feel a whole lot better when I wake up.
I'm no scientist, not a doctor, and I'm not saying the Pur-Sleep system is totally responsible for all of my recent success sleeping under the mask and on this machine. But I do honestly believe it is an important part of the combination of things which are helping me in my therapy.
Now if I could just get a comfortable mask!

Intersting comment ... does anyone know if you can satisfy cravings for certain foods simply by over-stimulating your sense of smell for those foods?muld00n wrote:My problem will probably be that when I smell those "good smells", I will think it is time to eat... not sleep.I wonder how much of it is like Pavlov's dog?

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Pur-Sleep - Love it.
Last night I knew it would be difficult to get to sleep due to mole removal from middle of back. I added a drop of Deep and was asleep within an hour but only because of the pain in back. The scent help me relax. I think without any scent it would have been much longer. Thank you so much. I didn't even use SleepMD (a sleep aide pill) to relax.
Also love Clear when my allergies are keeping me from breathing well.
PS: I over slept this morning. I have five alarms and didn't hear any of them.

We have an Old English Sheep and we love him but do not allow him in our bedroom , as we keep a gate in front of the door. We'd close the dorr but we need the air flowing through. Sleep with a dog or cats, unless you air 100% allergy free, is the worst thing to do.kavanaugh1950 wrote: I don't awaken panicked, trying to pull off my mask, smelling the vinegar solution that lingers after I clean my equipment or smelling unpleasant odors like doggy flatus which becomes intensified after being blown through the machine.

Canine flatulence aside, the Pur-Sleep system is well worth the money. It is extremely well made. No reason it shouldn't outlast your machine. And, so far, I can attest to the fact it does exactly what is suggested on the website. Not often in this world can you buy a product that is not only cost effective but does what it says it will!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I highly recommend it.
