One of my strangest nights since testing different pressures. This night was on 5 and I didn't expet what happened ... (About the O2 import - still doesn't work but I'm in contact with the support and working on it.)
First I have to remark that I had a partly really bad night, mostly due to my wife. She's pregnant and couldn't sleep and was so nice to regularly wake me up as well. But this counts only for the middle part between 3 and 5.
Why are things really strange? So as recommended by Rubicon I turned my machine down to 5cmH2O. I expected AHI to go all over the place. Instead it is best I ever had = 0.13 - only one sincle CA was measured. No hypopneas, nothing. So far so good. One could argue now: "Okay, lower pressure seems better for you. Your CAs were therpay induced. Maybe you should leave out CPAP at all." (note that this is exaggerated)
But I guess it's not that easy. While my AHI was very low - despite the wife related arousals (don't get that either as I would expect it to go up after all we know) - my O2 sats also were the worst since using the O2 Ring.
Notably even worse than before Therapy!!!! It's really a bummer that O2 import to sleep HQ still doesn't work, but as long as we're working on it, let me give you the facts in a written form: So I had by far the most desats of more than 4% (7 times). Lowest again was 90% - aberage strangely 97% again. Even stranger is, that the desats can only partly be linked to what happened with my breath. I will inlcude a screenshot of the lowest sat timestamps as the upload of o2 to sleephq doens't work yet... And then something new happen as well as you can see in screenshot 2 of Oscar. I never saw such a shallow breathing for me. What is this???
The subjective evaluation of my sleep quality is (thanks to my wife) probably not very useful. I had the feeling that the first 2,5 hours were really good. I can't remember waking up a lot which I usually can the next day. But then again looking at the O2 it should not be so good, as I had lot's of the desats during that period. For the rest of the night.. yeah not so good - root cause mentioned often enough now... After all this morning I feel croggy with a slight headache.
So what are the findings in your pov? How to proceed? Another night on 5?
