Did you lock the SD card prior to putting the SD card in your computer?
I assume you already let the machine fix the "corrupted card" by erasing everything but if this should happen in the future there may be a way to fix it so the machine doesn't think the card is corrupted. Just putting this out there in case it happens again.
S9 model machines notoriously don't like it when the SD card doesn't look like it expects the card to look so it wants to get rid of the corruption. Sometimes it's possible to get rid of the "corruption" without totally nuking the entire SD contents.
