Anyone notice a strange odor from there’s maybe it’s like a new car smell but I don’t care for it ? This is the second night using it and my Philips dreamstation never smelled like this when new. I did see a tear down of the 11 on YouTube and holy smokes there’s a lot of foam in this thing. If you have a foam phobia you may not want to watch that video
Anyhow I’m a good test subject with asthma and allergies I’ll notice quickly if it’s an issue I suppose in a week or two.

Almost all new manufactured items will have a "new car" like odor to them. And like new car odors it will dissipate.

I had wondered if I should just let it run but hopefully it will get better with time. Thanks

Ah Yes, that new car smell, it will leave in time but likely your brain will adapt to the smell, that's how it works. Back in the 1970's we used a product from Prestone called New Car Smell, we used it to make used cars smell new, it was great. Hard telling how much Cancer it caused but after a few years it wasn't sold anymore, probably, in the good days before the ambulance chasers took over.

Spray a tiny bit on a cotton ball and place it next to the CPAP air intake. Lasts all night.

I have no problems with my air sense 11. Excellent pump. I saw the video on YouTube. if you want to see his videos go to cpap reviews. it seems to me he has a problem with Resmed. he has another video, comparing the air mini with the air sense 11. air mini pump is the same pump they put in the air sense 11. this pump only cost 20 dollars each for resmed to put in the air sense 11. don't let YouTube videos change your mind about the air sense 11. I love my air sense 11.

My generation said, "dog and PONY show", referring to the circus act.
--Generally referring to something well-rehearsed, and not possible in real life.
I purchased Snugglesense aromatherapy products from cpap.com.
Citrus and sage scents are nice.

you have to subscribe to cpap reviews. he has a list of his videos. he shows a teardown of the air mini with the 20 dollar air pump that goes into the air sense 11. go to search on YouTube and put in cpap reviews. when you see him scribe to his video list. if you want more videos. go to search and look for resmed air sense 11. YouTube will spit out all kinds of interesting videos on the air sense 11. let me know if you have any trouble.

You've posted "he", "his", or "him" seven times without saying who "he" is.
But don't waste any more of your time.
