Main thing for new users of Swift is choosing the right size pillow out of the three that comes with it, I tried the medium for a week then switched to large, been using that since September, wash it every morning with Johnson baby shampoo mixed with warm water, a good rinse, air dry, and see no evidence of wear, great mask, can get up take it off, rarely have to readjust straping, before putting back on. I also made reasembling it easier by marking hose side of mask with white out, or white marker, this then makes it easier for me to attach pillow assembly to it, prior to that I would install pillow upside down, where exhaust would be blowing in wrong direction. Always looking for the better mouse trap

Swift 2

Post by JuJu » Sat Jan 13, 2007 1:18 pm

I received my new swift and I had to open it to see if it was the swift 2 and it wasn't. So next time in three months I will ask for an updated version.

Guess they have to get rid of old before selling the new.
And I think it's wrong for them not to give you all the same size nasal pillows.
After knowing which one works for you. They just go to waste.
It's all about making money to them.

Hi JuJu,

The three different sizes are what come in the package with each mask, so you can get the right one. That's the way they come from the factory. It's also so that if you find after a week of using the medium ones you decide you should be using the large, you can then change.

Pedroski,

I understand all of that.
This is my 5th mask. I have a hybid,comfort gel,comfortlite and
two are the swift. So far the swift is the only one that I find that works for me the best.
Thank u for the input...

I asked the DME about ordering the Swift II. Her answer was that I was not the first asking for it but that it is not being sold in North America yet. It is only available in Australia and Europe.

Is this correct? Anyone in USA/Canada has purchased it?

Swift pillows

Post by GoofyUT » Sat Jan 13, 2007 4:15 pm

Speaking of which, anyone interested in swapping their new, unusued Swift LARGE pillows, for new, unused, virgin Swift SMALL pillows that I am unable to use?

PM me if you're interested.

Cheers!

Chuck

Awwww, darn, Chuck!!!! I never even knew until reading this post that the Swift was SUPPOSED to come w/all 3 sizes of pillows!!!! When the DME sold me my Swift when I first purchased my equipment she ONLY gave me the Small pillows. (Another B&M DME who "pockets" the extra mask cushions/parts we are supposed to get!)

Fortunately, when I got the CL2 I knew it was supposed to come w/both pillows and nasal cushion (or pillows and seals) altho for some reason I thought I was supposed to get all 3 sizes (S, M, L) of both cushion and pillows. "We" were so sure that I only needed the Small I didn't say anything about not getting the Large. As it turned out the Medium is the size I use.
