Thank you, Zonker! Will do.
off topic, but it would help me out.

could you start using the quote feature? when you do that, i'll get a notification that you've quoted me and then i'll be able reply to you faster.

thank you.
Okay, I hadn't thought about the notification feature, thanks for pointing that out.

Hello again, guys. I've been working towards the best pressures for keeping the AHI down while avoiding the aerophagia and this is where I am at this point.

I still get some air in my belly at this pressure but I can live with it. But I've found if I turn up the max pressure anymore from here it gets to be too much.

I feel like I'm sleeping okay. Does this look good or do you have any other suggestions?

looks good to me, if this is a typical chart. you have ca's but more pressure won't help that in any case.

keep it as is and maybe look to see what happens in a few weeks?

good luck!

Zonker! Don't scare the poor girl - those CAs are negligible! :)

I would be more than happy to have that report and in fact if truth be known....most of my reports don't look that good.
I would leave well enough alone given the problems with aerophagia lurking.

oh, sorry! didn't mean for it to come across that way.

just meant there are ca's there and they wouldn't be helped by higher pressure.

Thanks, everyone, for your help! I'll keep an eye on the centrals. Is there some kind of rule of thumb as to how many or how long they last before you have to worry about them?

A lot more than you are having AND need to be seen consistently instead of randomly.
Doctors won't bat an eye until someone has around 5 per hour average centrals consistently.
A random bad night or dense cluster isn't a big deal.
I once had 17 centrals in 17 minutes. Looked like I was asleep to but maybe I wasn't. Anyway it never happened again so I shrugged my shoulders and moved on.
Duration...again it depends if random lone event or clustered with a bunch of other centrals.

Have one 30 second central all by itself within a 3 hour stretch...no big deal.
Have 5 30 second centrals with 5 minutes...different story.
I would bet my last dollar that the bulk of any of your centrals barely make it to the 10 second mark to earn a flag. Hold your breath for 10 seconds...no big deal and no distress...that's what a 10 second central is.
It would take a lot of them back to back over many minutes for it to impact oxygen levels or whatever.

Random anything really isn't a big deal. It's when we get all those little buggers grouped together that they can cause arousals or problems.....this pertains to any flagged event category and isn't limited to central category.

Remember...it's entirely normal for everyone to have a handful of centrals here and there...real asleep centrals...it's normal and no big deal and certainly no need to panic or worry. Even people without OSA or CSA diagnosis will have a few here or there.

 Oh, those little buggers.....they have figured out a new way to screw with me.
They are messing with the amount of sleep hours I get. They have been for quite some time now and it's extremely frustrating for me. No matter what I do or don't do the number of hours of sleep is a real challenge.
Long time ago 6 hours was a bad night...now 6 hours is a good night. Pretty sad state of affairs.
