MyAir data missing for one night only

You need to score the clinical/provider manual instead of the user manual.

You have to be in the clinical setup menu area to see the Essentials settings and change it to "plus" so you can see more on your sleep report on the LCD screen.

Getting to the clinical setup menu area requires the secret handshake...all explained in the manual at the link I just provided.

I honestly feel that plus should be the default for essentials.
A bit of immediate feedback might be the key to fewer failures.

I too am missing data from July 4th and July 9th using the MyAir App. Yet, I know I used the machine both nights.

You are right…something happened.

…and you’re right that some on here at times can be snarky & an azz. They have unresolved issues in their life & now they are also old & bitter. Razzing the new kids on the Internet is their passion in life.

MyAir is useless when compared to OSCAR but does have a nice REPORT feature (click upoer right of the “History “ tab/screen) in it with basic usage info that tracks the past 30/90/365 days of usage in a nice looking format.

I had to use this report once to show compliance of using my CPAP & it worked like a charm to show my usage numbers.

Anyways, get OSCAR & upload your OSCAR reports here & you’ll get amazing feedback from the more helpful members here that will give you some insight into your CPAP treatment & maybe even some pointers of where you might improve your sleep therapy

BTW, you can see the last hiccup in MyAir reporting was during the changeover to daylight savings time in the spring. My ResMed machine didn’t like me changing the time I guess …or I did it at the wrong time

My "My Air" is missing July 4th and July 9th. I've got Oscar data though. Suspect something was wrong with the my air app.

Pretty sure that after an alien abduction, if the Neuralyser they use to wipe out your memory is set to strong, the EMF will also wipe out data in your CPAP's RAM. The data on the SD Card should survive.

Btw if you set your screen to essential plus it will give you ahi broken down into centrals and non centrals and it will show you leak rate at or below 90% which is still not as helpful as oscars data where you can see exactly where and for how long your leaks happened etc.

Everyone who just now discovered what Essential Plus shows.
The initial Sleep Report screen that shows AHI and Mr Smiley or Mr Frowny for leak management screen that you glance at first thing and don't turn any dials...that's for last night.
If you turn the dial and go deeper into the next screen you have to remember that data is normally for a 30 day average unless you set it for a different time frame...like one day or one week or whatever.
The default from the factory is 30 day.
So what you see for AHI for last night probably isn't going to be what you see on the next screen so don't go into panic mode.
Remember it's an average for whatever parameter you have set.

Also remember....anytime you lose power to the machine and then it regains power...it reverts to the 30 day default for that second screen sleep report data. Minor brown out....it will reset and if you want averages for anything other than 30 days you will need to reset the parameter.

Correct. My PC does not have a card reader. I'm sure they're super cheap on Amazon. Is Oscar that much better than MyAir?

i see that you've got "essentials" turned on now and that's good.

but most of the forum membes are very strong on helping ourselves in therapy. even with essentials on, oscar can give you more data. and it's what we thrive on.

each of us is different and thus, so is our cpap journey. what makes up the elements of your sleep apnea isn't the same as what makes up mine. nor pugsy's. nor dog slobber's. nor miss e's. and so on and so forth.

if you want to improve your ahi and your sleep apnea, download oscar and start posting some charts. the experts here can take a look and suggest what changes you can make to get the most out of your therapy.

Thanks for the info. It just dawned on me that I DO own a USB SD card reader. As soon as I get home I'll be doing the Oscar thing. Thanks!

You have to enter the "clinical" mode to find essentials. You can do that by pressing the scroll knob and the little house om the front of your machine. then scroll down to essentials and select plus.
