MyAir data missing for one night only

Post by TomBrady12 » Wed Jul 14, 2021 8:28 am

MyAir is displaying sleep data for every night except for July 4th. It has data for every night before July 4th, and for every night after. If everything else is up to date, why is it missing July 4th? (I own a ResMed 10 AutoSet) Thanks for your help!

MyAir isn't much good for much anyhow, and you'd do lots better with Oscar if your machine supports it.

You have 30k posts on a CPAP forum and belittle new users for utilizing mainstream software. Time to reevaluate your life choices.

My "My Air" is missing July 4th and July 9th. I've got Oscar data though. Suspect something was wrong with the my air app.

Thanks for your helpful response. I'd like to try Oscar but I don't own an SD card reader. Perhaps I'll pick one up and try it out.

I think your machine has a slot for (any old) card - does your computer not take one?

Correct. My PC does not have a card reader. I'm sure they're super cheap on Amazon. Is Oscar that much better than MyAir?

Thanks

The "mainstream software" is pablum compared to what you can see
ON THE SCREEN if the machine is set correctly.
Your data is available at a glance--ON THE MACHINE.
Oscar is not necessary for everyone--though it is amazing.

No more name calling personal attacking stuff please. Doesn't help anyone.
Thank you in advance for ceasing that sort of interaction.

JUST LOOK AT THE DAMN SCREEN, BONEHEAD.
Incorrect. The screen does not display AHI or mask leak data. It simply displays hours slept, and a happy or sad face for Mask Seal and Humidifier. MyAir provides AHI, mask on/off, and actual mask leak data. :D

"My air" is a quick look overview more to track compliance than anything but if you want to know more detail, Oscar is where you will find it. My ahi which has been well under 1 for over a year recently started climbing. While I could see that there were more events I couldn't see the break down of those events, couldn't tell what was swj or tell what the fluctuation in my pressure were. Oscar gives you a more complete picture. I was able to figure out that a neuropathy medication (duloxetine) that the doctor wanted me to try was causing the increase. As soon as I stopped the med the ahi settled back down to its normal under 1 a night.

Btw if you set your screen to essential plus it will give you ahi broken down into centrals and non centrals and it will show you leak rate at or below 90% which is still not as helpful as oscars data where you can see exactly where and for how long your leaks happened etc.

Thanks for your response. I have gone through the settings on my machine a few times, but can't find anything referring to essential plus. I've even scoured the manual (https://document.resmed.com/documents/p ... er_eng.pdf) and still can't seem to find anything. I have a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet. Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!!
