Just last night I spent my first night connected to the cpap. After doing a lot of research, I decided to buy the Resmed Airsense 10 autoset, since the doctor prescribed a pressure between 4 and 20, with the automatic version, I would allow you to start using it immediately.
Also, I opted for a phillips dreamwear nasal mask, which seemed the most comfortable because I don't breathe through my mouth.
I tried the machine with automatic ramp, then without ramp, I did not feel any substantial difference with the cpap .. I only had a bad night because of the discomfort. But I didn´t feel more pressure of air when I stopped breathing on my mask (which was without a leak, according to the qualification of the airsense today). I don't quite understand if this is going to be adjusted over time? the pressure never seemed to rise above 4. Even at night I woke up from an apnea, and the machine was still running at pressure at 4.
Thank you very much, I hope I can get used to it soon
