Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will jump in to help you get it all fixed right.
You may need to re-insert the SD card or possibly reformat or insert a new one.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
The way I understand it, once data is recorded one cannot reset the machine to a point before the time or date of that data. i.e. if you record a session that actually begins at 10PM on November 10, 2016 and ends at 6AM on November 11, 2016 but the machine reports the session as spanning November 11 to November 12 you cannot tell the machine to record a session that its record says occurred at the same or conflicting time the next day. The easy solution - if you have either a backup or travel machine - is to use that machine for a couple of days and reset your primary machine at a time when the change will not conflict with data already recorded - give it at least one full day to make sure of no conflict.Reuven Gruber wrote:For some reason the date in my machine got set to tomorrow's date. either that, or erase the data then set the clock.
Get OSCAR

Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
As usual, a possibly simpler solution. In thinking about either suggestion raises a separate question: assuming the data has been read into SleepyHead, how will it deal with the conflicting report dates? As I see it, it may see two sessions spanning the same time period with the same dates.palerider wrote:either that, or erase the data then set the clock.

that's a good question, and I don't have a good answer for it...JimW159 wrote:As usual, a possibly simpler solution. Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
But... what happens to our AIRSENSE 10?
How is this possible?
In a few days this is the second case!

I had the same problem.
I held off the CPAP for the day but it was not enough.
I had to reset the CPAP and then I was able to correct the date.
I advise you not to waste time. You make a copy of the sd-card then go with reset.
Good luck

Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
mistakes get made in clock setting, that has nothing to do with the machine itself.Oltremare wrote:But... what happens to our AIRSENSE 10?

Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
How does this happen??? Human error...as much as I would like to blame it on the aliens...human error is the only way it happens.
Usually when we go to reset the clock for DST changes...we accidentally change the calendar too.
It's the only way it just up and happens.
I have done it twice....both with DST changes...and that's why I don't bother changing the clock anymore with the DST spring and fall changes.
I just erased the machine then reset the calendar.
I forget what happened to the SH data for the "duplicate" night...Don't know that I even looked.
You can always create a second profile to use after the erasing of the machine and calendar reset.

As always thank you for your expertise. I remember correct daylight saving time and surely I made a mistake.
There is no other possibility!

Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
Thanks for the advice - Here is what I did:
With the SD card in the machine I entered the clinical menu and selected "Erase Data" and then confirmed that I actually wanted to do it. The machine erased the data and reformatted the SD card. I was then able to enter the correct date and time
I am pleased to report that this operation did not erase my settings (pressures, units of measure etc)
I did not loose historical data since I had been uploading data from the SD card in my machine to the ResScan application on my laptop (ResScan is the ResMed equivalent of SleepyHead)

Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
I know this thread is old but I felt the need to chime in here since this thread is one of the only ones I found with information about this issue and others may look here for a solution.
There is no need to reset or reset or erase all your CPAP data to set the date back! I just successfully set my date back on my ResMed Airsense 10 by using a different recommended approach.
You just need to keep setting the time of the machine back as much as the machine will allow you before going to bed. You will end up with 2 sleep sessions in one day. You will eventually reach a point where the machine will allow you to set the time back to midnight (00:00). At that point you will be able to set the time to midnight or the correct time afterwards, with the dates aligned and the clocks aligned again. Minor hour adjustments can always be made after noon and before using the machine for the night moving forwards.
This might sound really complicated but to keep things simple, just keep moving your machine clock back progressively each day until you reach a point at which you can align the clocks on the same day. It might take 2-3 days but trust that you will get to a point where you will be able to set the clock correctly and you won't have to reset or erase your data. This won't cause any issues for SleepyHead or Oscar. There will be a day with 2 sessions but that's no big deal. You get extra credit for lots of sleep that day and all the other days will be ok.
Hope this helps some people,
WindRider

Re: ResMed Airsense 10 Setting Date Problem
Made the mistake of resetting the time on the machine when I flew from the Mainland to Hawaii. Then I couldn’t change back. Won’t do that again.
