Update on my Bleep use:
The flanges on the port were irritating so I put some tape around them each night.
Here's a sketch I got from Stuart, to help when we talk about the dreamport.

Which of the pieces below are you wrapping the tape around?

The only thing I do addition to Pugsy's routine is; I plug the ports with my thumbs, and make sure the port tape isn't leaking before clicking in for the night

Jas-williams, I see that your pressure is adjusted from 6 to 21. What is your average pressure? because even with the kind of diffuser on your photo, with an average pressure of 15 ... it makes a noise of hell.
I have tested the Bleep with my bilevel machine using 25 IPAP and 18 EPAP and it is totally silent unless the vented air is bouncing off something.
The diffuser will work to aid in not having it bounce off something.
If you are hearing noise and it's not bouncing off something then you have a leak somewhere.
Any tips on how best to identify and fix these leaks?

I got my mask yesterday, and while mask fit said I had no leaks, was indeed loud, so I figure I'm missing something.

For example, where are all the places it CAN leak? At basically every interface, so maybe there are four or five places to check?

I added the DIY diffuser, so wondering if maybe there's an issue there.

You have good answers from Pugsy and Djams, I would add that some people reported noise coming from the joint between the vent and the vent swivel. To solve this problem, I put teflon tape. Pugsy, I'm happy for you if it's very quiet with a pressure of 25. But there are so many people making a homemade diffuser (Incuding you, me, and even Stuart) that the noise is certainly one of the negative points of this mask. To be clear, this mask is the only one on the market that I tried without any leaks. I love it, it has huge potential, but there is room for improvement and if these improvements are not made in the future, we risk losing a mask that we love.

Slowriter, a very easy way to see if there are leaks, you block the ventilation holes with your fingers. If there is no leak, you will hear absolutely no noise. If you hear the slightest sound, there is a leak. It takes a while to get used to the installation, but everyone gets there. One thing this mask does not support is moisture. I can no longer use sinus rinse before bedtime because the moisture that remains in the nose eventually take off the mask. I have noticed that the noise is less annoying for side sleeper... but for back sleeper like me, the noise is more invasive. The only thing I miss from my dreamwear is the hose on the top of the head.

Good luck

Yes....and improvements are in the works and behind the scenes as we speak and wish for them.
It's slow going though for a start up company which has faced some huge hurdles getting their product out to people who want it.
They don't have the deep pockets like ResMed or the other big name mask makers.
I am not privy to all that is going on behind the scenes in terms of improving the Bleep but there is a lot of R & D going on right now.
A simple diffuser holder kind of thing....in the works. A more flexible hose...in the works. A better swivel....in the works.
And at the same time they have to straddle a fine line and not just copy something that someone else has already patented.
We all know how happy those big name brands are to sue anyone and the last thing Stuart needs is to take his precious R & D money and pay lawyers with it.

Great news, it's what I want. I want bleep to succeed. There's absolutely no other mask like this one on the market. Light, absolutely no leaks, no headgear... If they want someone to test the new version, I'm willing to pay to test prototype.

Thought this was agood enough idea to consider for back packing...so bought one.
Excellent! Will be picking up one from the dollar store next visit. I've used my humidifier too for holding my TapPap mouthpiece and pillows.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU. It's so great when you see a random "tip" (hack?) that will work for you. I don't use my humidifier. I bought the endcap, but I still keep the humidifier in the carry case. I travel at LEAST once a week and usually far more often. My cpap bag has slowly become my "medical bag". I keep requiring more *stuff*.

...but to utilize that big square of humidifier is going to be awesome!

Thanks KTEAGUE! 8)
Began XPAP May 2016. Autoset Pressure min. 8 / max 15. Ramp off. ERP set at 2. No humidity. Sleepyhead software installed and being looked at daily, though only beginning to understand the data.

I sorted it out last night, but did still notice significant noise on inhale. I sent Bleep a recording to confirm if that's expected.

I'll try the silicon tape.

You put the silicone tape inside that joint, like plumbers do?

Yes , like a plumber. Uninstal vent swivel, put the teflon tape around the vent connector and then install vent swivel and that's it.

And yes, the mask doing more noise when inhalation goes on.

Stuart confirmed the noise wasn't unexpected (so don't expect "silence"), but he suggested making sure the diffuser is tight against the vent, potentially using rubber bands to ensure that.

This is what I have done once ... the noise has completely disappeared. But my spo2 level went down, not drastically but I decided not to pursue it that way. The other problem that arose was that it was difficult to exhale without using a flex mode. And I do not like the flex mode respironics ... it settles a decallage the way I breathe and expires and the way that the algorithm of the cpap provides that I will do it.

I am kind of new to the pap stuff but have used a bipap on 20/10 and after 3 months have switched to a Dreamstation bipap s/t because of complex apnea . I started at 69 and had moved to 29 after the first 2 months . I am now averaging around 15. I am fully compliant but break out around the head gear and have to use a pony tail to keep head gear from riding up and losing my nasal cushion. the Dr. now has me set at 16/8 with a supplemental breath if needed. I do not have the sleepy head app but have heard about it so for now just using the Dreammapper. I have just received my your order has been shipped for my Dream port system. So I guess I will be starting this over the weekend or next week. Hopefully I can get #'s down. I am hoping insurance will reimburse me some for my cost. If not I will make the most of it. Thanks for the reviews.

Welcome to the forum.

I hope you have a good experience with the Bleep but if you run into any problems at all or have any questions....don't hesitate to come here and ask for help.
Heck, you can even call Stuart and ask his help if need be. We don't expect everyone to love this mask like we do but we do want to try to help everyone make it work for them if this is the mask they want to use.

Day 1 thoughts on bleep. Maybe too easy to breathe. Anxiety based on not having many of the issues I had previously. Woke up early to use the restroom lost the seal when I unhooked. I took off dreamports and used old mask for the last 1 1/2 hrs. It was almost too easy only issue was comfort with the hose and a fear of kinking it.
