How long are you finding that the Bleep hose and interface last? I have to look to make sure but I think mine is about 7 months old and starting to show it's age. The bottom piece routinely falls off the white hose if I move so I'm waking up preemptively to hold it, which I don't want to do.

How did yours last, or are you still on the original?

I am still using the same hose/interface that I got back in mid December. It's aged a bit in terms of color but that happens with all silicone.
I did briefly add the P10 hose to the interface...but went back to the shorter hose after a couple of weeks because I actually prefer the shorter hose.

Do you happen to have a P10 laying around that you might be willing to do some surgery on?

Edit to add.....I have never had a problem with that bottom part falling off but I have heard of a few of the others having that problem with it coming off too easily. So I haven't really needed to find a fix for it...but if you swap out hoses and use the P10 hose...I don't think that bottom part will have that problem.

I do not but there are a couple on eBay. Hmmm . . .

I'm hard on the hose. Trying to turn over while laying on it doesn't equate to longevity and I'm too lazy to do hose management. ;-)

Unfortunately the nose/frame part is the most expensive part of the P10 but sometimes good deals can be had.
The added P10 hose length and greater flexibility might just be something that makes the Bleep a perfect mask for you.

If used doesn't bug you too much....you might ask the forum members if they have a frame/hose assembly that they want to get rid of.
I used one that had a few black dots in the vent mesh...and people get them...but you would be cutting away that part anyway.
Maybe ask if someone has one that is going in the trash anyway????? Just a thought.

I have a Velcro strap and clip now that I wrap round the end of the cpap hose where it joins the short hose and clip it to my pj top that way the short hose stays with me and no pulling on the nose I find it improves the comfort more. I am also using the same mask but with a P10 hose attached as I like the extra length/flex

I, too, am using my original mask (from March). I do have a new one that I received in May, held in reserve. It was my first insurance shipment and I will replace my first one (bought on my own dime), when it finally fails. I am, however, using it with a short hose from my old Nuance Pro mask. That hose is lighter and more flexible. I also tried using a P10 hose, but prefer the Nuance one.

I got mine in mid-February, so right at 6 months. I will pull the plate off the dreamway once in awhile. But I've been doing this since day one. I mention it in my review on page one of this post. Over time I've realized that this happens when I get the hose stuck between my pillows.

All the bits and pieces of my Bleep are 6 months old and working fine.

Hello everyone, first message here.

I use the bleep dreamport for about a month alternating with the phillips dreamwear nasal cushion. I use a cpap for 7 years and these are the only two masks that do not leak for me. As I have a lot of mouth leaks and I have never found a full face mask that does not leak, I go with the mouth taping. My best tape is the sport strapping tape. Easy to remove, leaves no residue, and adheres well to the skin. The only problem, to prevent my mouth opens, I must stretch the tape to the maximum during installation. I find myself with a kind of reverse face lift since the skin of my face is attracted to the mouth by the tape. I try the 3M micropore, but do not hold well. But now, the bleep dreamport tape would be perfect for this job. Does anyone know where I can get this tape?

As for the bleep dreamport, one thing that is really unpleasant is the noise. No noise problem for the one with pressure below 10 but at 12 and above, it's crazy the noise coming out. I have tried all the recommendations read here with more or less success. I was there with my own solutions ... the first was a success for the noise but reduced the CO2 output too much. My oxygen saturation was going down. My second solution, a kind of airfoam serving as engine air filter did not make a miracle on noise.

I went to calculate the surface of all the small holes of the masks to seal them and make just two new larger ones with different angles. Has anyone tried this here?

Thank you, Centrum

Update on my Bleep use:
After trying several dozen masks unsuccessfully over several years, the Bleep is working for me. Yay! What a difference good night's sleep makes.

The flanges on the port were irritating so I put some tape around them each night.
The hose was pulling on the mask and sometimes yanked it apart. It does come apart a bit too easily. Now I tuck some of the hose under the edge of my pillow and that problem has resolved.
Hopefully the next iteration will also address the issue of breath noise coming out the ports.
Overall though, I'm thrilled to have finally, finally found a mask that works and that I can tolerate.

See the Resmed filter workaround to diffuse the blast of air cut across in the center of a Resmed filter pull the hose of the bottom of the swivel push the swivel through the cross reattach the hose so the who,e rig looks like my picture below

Jas-williams, I see that your pressure is adjusted from 6 to 21. What is your average pressure? because even with the kind of diffuser on your photo, with an average pressure of 15 ... it makes a noise of hell.

I have tested the Bleep with my bilevel machine using 25 IPAP and 18 EPAP and it is totally silent unless the vented air is bouncing off something.
The diffuser will work to aid in not having it bounce off something.
If you are hearing noise and it's not bouncing off something then you have a leak somewhere.

Any tips on how best to identify and fix these leaks?

I got my mask yesterday, and while mask fit said I had no leaks, was indeed loud, so I figure I'm missing something.

For example, where are all the places it CAN leak? At basically every interface, so maybe there are four or five places to check?

I added the DIY diffuser, so wondering if maybe there's an issue there.

If I am going to have a leak due to incorrect connections it's always where the ports that stick on your nose click into the little neck part of the frame.

Others have had the silicone portions of the frame be not quite attached properly...wrinkle of sorts in the groove where the silicone sits.

Have you watched the videos available?

Here's how I do things.
I stand in the bathroom in front of the mirror because I just have to see what I am doing.
I attach the ports to my nose and then I click the ports into the little neck part. There are 4 places to click in when the port is placed in the neck part. Sometimes they click almost all at the same time and sometimes I can hear each click.
Once I have both ports attached I place the palm of my hand over the end of the hose and I try to breathe.
If I can't move any air at all...everything is attached properly and off I go to bed.
If I can move some air then I know I need to re do something and for me it's always been where the ports click in. I pull it out and push it in again paying attention to try to get it straight.

In the mirror and backwards...kinda hard for me to keep it straight but I have got fast....total of about 30 seconds from first sticking that first port on my nose to putting the palm of my hand at the bottom of the hose to check for leaks.
About 1/4 the time I will have a loose port that didn't click in fully but it takes only a millisecond to redo it.

Also when the ports aren't clicked in solidly.....that is when I will or have experienced the loudest noise.
So for the people having massive loud noises...the port connection is my first suspect. The other places where it might leak won't be nearly as loud.
