I have put my mask stuff out on my covered porch to dry and get some fresh air a few times (has to be a few times because I don't wash my stuff very often).
It's never in direct sunlight though.

And I can't remember the last time I ever washed a heated hose or any long hose for that matter.
Mask hoses yes since they are usually attached to the frame and taking things apart is too much work for me.
Again...outside under the covered porch and not in direct sunlight though.

Although, knowing you, you are probably super-hospitable to all the spiders, wasps, lizards, small birds, etc. in the area--and by "area," I mean, where you actually live, not here at cpaptalk.

Although, knowing you, you are probably super-hospitable to all the spiders, wasps, lizards, small birds, etc. in the area--and by "area," I mean, where you actually live, not here at cpaptalk.

I wish. Nope...no screens
and yes I have my fair share of bugs but I have a little hangy thing that the mask gets hooked to and not much chance of anything except a fly touching it and they are way to busy eating the cat food on the porch to mess with my mask.

BBQ or Chili -- I don't care if it's snobbery-grade or carnival-grade, I want to try it and see for myself. My view is that bad BBQ and chili is better than *no* BBQ or chili. I even had some of that chili in Ohio that tasted like they added cinnamon to it (WTH!!??). Didn't taste necessarily bad, but it sure didn't taste "right" either. Still, it was edible if only out of curiosity.

Why are you even washing it? Most of us don't bother at all, or only at loooong intervals - it's a closed system after all and whatever goes through the filter, machine and hose goes straight out and doesn't come back... But if you insist, using the machine at bedtime x 10 mins should dry it out anyhow.

I honestly just love the smell of clean. I use Dawn dish soap and I absolutely love that smell. I get the best sleep on the nights after I clean my things. I don't do it that often; usually once a month.

Put a drop of Dawn on a cotton ball and place it near the air intake on your machine. Sleep good every night instead of one out of 30. No hose cleaning required.
