Yes, "concentration camps" indeed. I'm sure that all the Jews back in WWII were deliberately showing up at the gates of Germany asking, begging and pleading to be let in because they wanted a better life. Hell, they were sneaking in! They weren't being forced via the barrel of a gun, so they're just like the people showing up on America's doorstep. Exactly the same, so much so that the temporary detention centers are the same thing as a concentration camp. As America, we're practicing lebensraum, you know, because we don't have enough room. We're terrible, and hateful, blah blah blah. Look, those temporary (Read: Concentration camps are only temporary until you die in them, therefore, these are not concentration camps) detention facilities were in use under Obama. Is he a dictator? No, didn't think so, so this is all just political bias.

Yeah, I know "omg they set that up! It's a concentration camp!" Whatever, if you're desperate and want to see demons everywhere, then you're probably going to see demons everywhere and no amount of fact will ever tear you away from your demoralized position. Funny how it only takes a few pictures of a politician crying at a fence somewhere to throw some people into the precise emotional position that politician wants you to be in, but no amount of actual evidence can ever be good enough to bring you out. That's called demoralization, the Soviets were very good at it. They were also very good at emotional manipulation, and some of our politicians are practicing the same art. If they keep you mad as hell, then that guarantees that you'll donate money and / or vote for them. They're playing you like a fiddle, and you're happy to be played, because you've been subverted, a slave to the emotion.

Many people have been demoralized by ridiculous media and propaganda at this point, and the more ridiculous it gets, the more that the average person will look at Trump, of all people, and think something like "You know...he's actually the least crazy one on the ballot." The same is true of the "other" side as well.

Name one thing that he's done to earn the title of "Dictator". Just one. I'm not even a fan of the guy and yet here I am having to defend him against baseless accusations. I wasn't a fan of Obama, and I even defended him against the same. Then again, I'm not really a fan of government to begin with. But seriously, concentration camps? That hits so far wide of ridiculous that it's difficult for me to believe that I'm even responding to it.

Any semblance of critical thinking is gone, but no one will see the amount of damage it's doing to the country as a whole, because they believe they hold the moral high ground. One side gets crazy, the other side responds by...getting crazy. It all leads to bad things in the end, and I'm tasked with being a bulwark against those bad things, but I'm swimming upriver at this point. Retirement can't come soon enough. That way, I can sit back, enjoy my mediocre pension and watch the World burn...and at the rate it's going, it's certainly going to do just that.

But hey, maybe I can make myself feel better by surrounding myself with people that echo my bias, live in that echo chamber - and never be challenged - and blame someone else, regardless of my own rhetoric. That's what's hip now, yeah? No thinking required, just fit in and carry that sign proud and high.

I live about 40 miles from one of those Internment Camps........Heart Mountain. And, over the years I've learned quite a bit about them.
These were second and third generation Japanese-American Citizens. Their property was essentially confiscated and they were put into these internment camps. Many of those men were still patriotic and wanted to fight for the U.S. during the war and managed to serve in the European Theater.

Nada. Now I'm hurt. Not really, but it was worth a shot.

Regarding the golf stuff, every single President has cost this country too much money. Sure, they deserve breaks and holidays, but just about all of them go overboard as far as I'm concerned. I get it, it's a stressful job, maybe even the most stressful in the world, but it needs to be kept within reason. But, to call someone a "dictator", even when the person has done nothing that I can see that follows the actions of an actual "dictator", well, that's just bias talking. The hate is strong. I don't even care about flower-power love, love is meaningless without order. It's a half-baked emotion that isn't allowed a chance to grow within chaos, and as far as I can tell, emotion is the cause of all the chaos.

Order will be restored, one way or another - and half the population isn't going to like the way in which that order comes. Maybe most of the population even, but order is the result of chaos, and vice versa. The real question is, from which direction is that order going to come from? Swing too far one way, people die. Swing too far the other way, people die. Choose wisely.

I'll sit here in my little corner, have my own beliefs, and watch the world descend into madness. It helps to turn off the TV every once in awhile, turns your brain to mush. If it bleeds, it leads. Vested interest in keeping people at each other's throats. Madness.

Oh, wanted to add, if you think two M1 Abrams tanks, a handful of military marching and some jets flying overhead is an indication of a "dictator" or "tyrant", I would submit that you have no knowledge of the military. As a veteran who faithfully served my country and have the DD214 to prove it, allow me to say that 1) Two Abrams tanks isn't even an armor platoon at strength and has very little power; 2) The vast majority of the military are real patriots and serve the oath to the Constitution, not a single person, not even the President. Yes, he is the Commander in Chief, but the military people simply won't follow illegal orders. Sure, a handful might, but most won't, because their oath is to an idea that is greater than a person. This also applies to the country's law enforcement, which number not even one million in a country of 330 million people. Even IF every single military person, and every single law enforcement officer, and every single government worker were to somehow turn against the citizens of the country at the behest of a dictatorial order from a dictatorial President, that battle is lost for them the second it begins. So, I believe that you are safe and have naught to worry about.

Lastly, if you somehow think that having a military parade on Independence Day is weird, or shows dictatorial proclivities, I would point you to the fact that this President is not the first and only one to have one. I'm sure that the others, including Eisenhower, now all long dead without realizing their dreams of Dictatorship, also held fast to the idea of being a "dictator". I think, in fairness, looking back at the factual data, the problem is not that these people sought to be dictators, but that they sought to be dictators only in your mind, where they will live forever, rent free, 24/7.
