People coming to this Country to seek asylum are not commiting a crime. Most of our ancestors came by boat because it was to far to swim. Trying to escape the same things these fellow humans are also trying to escape.

Depends on how they enter. There are legal ways and there are illegal ways to enter this country. Most of those entering the southern border are doing it illegally. That is extremely offensive to those who actually entered this country legally.
If someone breaks into your own home or car, are they entering legally or illegally?

It's also very offensive to see someone use the "race card" in this set of circumstances. You remember all of those celebrities who threatened to leave the country if Trump was elected? NONE OF THEM ever claimed to be heading SOUTH! They were all hinting that they would go to Canada (many actually came here from Canada to begin with) or to somewhere in Europe. That sounds "racist" to me........
Over the history of our country, many other ethnic groups have come to this country and many have been vilified. Chinese, Japanese, Irish, Italians, Germans (during WWI), Hispanics, Jews and many others.
I suggest you bone up on some history. Your logic has some HUGE holes in it.

I'm having a bit of a problem with the implication, that if one believes in [a] God, one is less likely to have racist tendencies, as well as the implicit suggestion that if one doesn't believe in [a] God, then there is a higher expectation of racist tendencies.

This isn't based on your statement alone, but a sentiment amongst many of the devout that one can't have morality with belief in [a] God.

I'm guessing, that you're not aware of many of the studies comparing morality, criminality and religiosity.
